NFL Week 7 is here, and several teams are scrambling to plug holes at major positions before their matchups this Sunday. Before we get into our Week 7 predictions and matchups to target from QB, RB, WR, and OL vs. DL — let's set the stage for a loaded week of games.

Rams WR Puka Nacua has been ruled out, while the Jets will be without their top target Garrett Wilson. Commanders WR Terry McLaurin is also sidelined, and the Browns will be missing TE David Njoku, one of their most reliable pass-catchers, which will open up more snaps for Harold Fannin Jr.

At QB, both Kyler Murray and Brock Purdy were limited in practice throughout the week, and each remains questionable to suit up in Week 7, leaving their teams potentially without their starters once again.

This PrizePicks Cheat Sheet for Week 7 predictions is your ultimate resource for the top player picks for NFL DFS, projections to target, and matchup insights for the Week 7 main slate from QB to OL vs. DL.

Best QB vs. Defense Matchups for Week 7

Here are the top QB vs. Defense matchups your Week 7 predictions, including PrizePicks projections to target for NFL DFS.

Browns QB Dillon Gabriel vs. Dolphins

Dillon Gabriel draws one of the softest matchups of the week against the Miami Dolphins, who have been a bottom-tier secondary all season.

Of the seven quarterbacks the Dolphins have faced in 2025, five have gone over their projected passing yards. Gabriel himself has cleared his passing prop in back-to-back games and is averaging 205.5 passing yards per game this season.

Miami ranks 31st in the NFL in expected points added (EPA) per dropback, per Sumer Sports, a key indicator of their inefficiency in pass defense.

One of the main liabilities has been safety Dante Trader Jr., who is allowing a 118.8 passer rating when targeted, a 15.5 yards per reception average, and currently ranks 81st out of 86 qualifying safeties per PFF. This Dolphins defense has not allowed less than 27 points all season. opening up their 2025 defensive campaign allowing 33-33-31 points to start.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Dillion Gabriel – 177.5 Passing Yards

Panthers QB Bryce Young vs. Jets

Bryce Young is coming off his second best performance of his season, where he threw for 200 yards and 3 TDs in a road win over the Dallas Cowboys, despite RB Rico Dowdle carrying the offense with his 183 rushing yards on 30 carries. This week, Young gets another exploitable matchup against the New York Jets.

Despite having elite cornerback Sauce Gardner, the Jets rank 30th in EPA per dropback allowed, and 25th in the NFL in passing touchdowns allowed. Jets CB Brandon Stevens faces a nightmare matchup against Panthers first-round pick Tetairoa McMillan, who is quickly making a name for himself.

McMillan already ranks inside the top 15 in receiving yards this season with 380, along with 2 TD. Stevens, meanwhile, has struggled in coverage, allowing a 127.8 passer rating and 17 receptions.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Bryce Young – 196.5 Passing Yards

Best Rushing Matchups to Target: Week 7

Here are the top rush yards picks for your NFL Week 7 predictions, including PrizePicks projections to target for NFL DFS.

Saints QB Spencer Rattler vs. Bears Defense

The Chicago Bears have been one of the worst teams in the NFL at defending the run this season. They’re allowing a league-worst 5.67 yards per carry, the second-most in the NFL — and surrendering 156.4 rushing yards per game, which also ranks second-worst. Making matters worse, they allow 2.39 yards after contact per attempt, the seventh-highest mark in the league.

This week, they’ll face a dual-threat challenge in Saints QB Spencer Rattler. Rattler ranks fifth among quarterbacks in designed rushing yards (53) and 14th in scramble yards (90), averaging 22.8 rushing yards over his last five games.

Chicago’s defense has consistently struggled to contain mobile quarterbacks. Jayden Daniels, Geno Smith, JJ McCarthy, and Jared Goff have all exceeded their rushing yard projections when facing the Bears this season, setting the stage for another potential breakout on the ground from Rattler.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Spencer Rattler – 21.5 Rush Yards

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor vs. Chargers Defense

Jonathan Taylor is firmly in the Offensive Player of the Year conversation with a dominant 2025 campaign. He leads the NFL in rushing yards (603), rushing TDs (7), and explosive runs (15 carries of 10+ yards), cementing himself as the league’s most dangerous ball-carrier thus far.

He draws a great matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have been gashed on the ground all season. They’re allowing 5.03 yards per carry (fifth-worst), over 120 rushing yards per game (12th-worst), and have given up seven rushing TDs — tied for the seventh-most in the league. Most recently, they allowed back-to-back 100-yard performances to Washington’s Jacorey Croskey-Merritt and Miami’s De’Von Achane, who ran for 111 and 128 yards respectively.

Taylor is in prime position to extend that streak in Week 7, just as he has all season long.

Week 57 PrizePicks Pick: Jonathan Taylor – 88.5 Rush Yards

Best WR vs. CB Matchups to Target: Week 7

Here are the top WR vs. CB matchups to look to for your NFL Week 7 predictions, including PrizePicks projections to target for NFL DFS.

Bears WR Rome Odunze vs. Raiders Secondary

The Bears could benefit from an increased workload for rookie standout Rome Odunze after DJ Moore was hospitalized following last week’s game. Odunze has been exceptional in his second season, averaging 14.9 yards per reception while posting a 114.9 passer rating when targeted.

He already has 5 TDs on the year, which ranks third among all wide receivers, and has emerged as one of Chicago’s most reliable weapons, especially around the end-zone.

He’ll line up primarily against Isaac Yiadom and Kool-Aid McKinstry, both of whom have been frequent targets for opposing quarterbacks.

Yiadom has given up a 105.3 passer rating with 11.8 yards per reception, while McKinstry has allowed a 119.6 passer rating with 14.6 yards per reception and 22 catches surrendered. Against such a shaky group, Odunze should be in prime position to deliver another big performance, especially if Moore remains limited or sidelined.

Injury note: CB Issac Yiadom is listed as questionable, but returned to practice this week.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Rome Odunze – 66.5 Rush Yards

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice vs. Raiders Secondary

The Kansas City Chiefs finally get their young star WR Rashee Rice back from a six-game suspension, and his return could immediately shift the balance of their offense. If former Chiefs safety Tyran Mathieu's take is worth anything... Rice could be in for a big game in his return.

Despite only playing four games last season, Rice was remarkably efficient, hauling in 24 of his 29 targets for 371 yards and 2 TDs. He averaged 12 yards per reception and posted a stellar 116.7 passer rating when targeted, proving he can maximize limited opportunities with explosive production. With Patrick Mahomes now able to lean on him again, Rice steps back into a pivotal role against a vulnerable Raiders secondary.

Oakland’s defensive backs have been liabilities, particularly 5th round pick Kyu Blu Kelly who has surrendered a 122.8 passer rating when targeted, a staggering 16.5 yards per reception, and 24 completions already this season. Along with their slot corner 4th rounder Darnay Holess who ranks 71st/109 corners in coverage via PFF.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Rashee Rice – 65.5 Receiving Yards

Best OL/DL Matchups to Target: Week 7

Here are the top OL vs. DL mismatches in NFL Week 7 games, including PrizePicks projections to target for NFL DFS based on the mismatches.

Eagles OL vs. Vikings DL

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line has continued its dominance from last season, solidifying itself once again as a top-three unit in the NFL. LT Jordan Mailata has allowed just 1 sack and committed only 1 penalty across 361 snaps, offering elite protection on Jalen Hurts’ blindside.

On the right edge, Lane Johnson remains one of the league’s most reliable tackles, giving up 0 sacks, only 6 pressures in 290 snaps. At the C position, Cam Jurgens has been outstanding, not surrendering a single sack or quarterback hit in 364 total snaps.

The Vikings defensive front has underperformed to this point int eh season. Interior lineman Jonathan Allen has yet to record a sack this season, and Javon Hargrave has been relatively quiet, generating just 13 total pressures.

First-round pick Dallas Turner, expected to bolster the pass rush, has only 1 sack and 10 hurries, while EDGE Jonathan Greenard has also produced just a single sack. This matchup heavily favors the Eagles, whose offensive line continuity and elite protection.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Jalen Hurts – 209.5 Passing Yards

Dolphins OL vs. Browns DL

The Miami Dolphins offensive line has struggled mightily through the first third of the season, exposing their quarterbacks to relentless pressure. LT Patrick Paul has already allowed 2 sacks and committed a penalty, while LG Jonah Savaiinaea has been a liability, surrendering 19 pressures and 3 sacks in just 337 snaps. On the right side, Larry Borom has also failed to anchor his spot, giving up 12 pressures, 2 sacks, and 2 penalties to date.

The Cleveland Browns defensive line is among the most feared in the league, anchored by superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett. Garrett has been a nightmare for opposing linemen, tallying 25 pressures and 5 sacks so far this season.

On the interior, Maliek Collins has emerged as a dominant force, posting 18 pressures and 4 sacks, while ranking second among 114 qualifying interior linemen in PFF’s pass-rushing metrics. Browns Alex Wright has also contributed in limited opportunities, registering 2 sacks and 6 pressures in just 93 pass-rushing snaps. Against this elite Browns front, Miami’s offensive line looks outmatched across the board.

Week 7 PrizePicks Pick: Tua Tagovailoa – 188.5 Passing Yards
