A Super Bowl rematch and an MNF doubleheader in the span of 36 hours isn't a thing — unless we're talking Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.
On Sunday, the champion Philadelphia Eagles head to Kansas City, where they'll look to repeat their Super Bowl domination of the Chiefs, while Monday night gives us a nifty two-fer featuring Tampa Bay's visit to Houston, and an AFC West divisional showdown between the Chargers and, as ESPN's Chris Berman might say, the Raaaaaiiii-dahs.
All of which means now's the time put your NFL touchdown scorer predictions to the test.

NFL Week 2 TD Scorer Predictions for $1M Free2Play Contest
This week's picks run the gamut from fantasy deities, to future Hall of Famers, to rookie sleepers.
Patriots vs. Dolphins (9/14, 1:00 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson
- While the Patriots struggled to get their run game going in Week 1, rookie Henderson’s 5.4 yards per carry trumped RB Rhamondre Stevenson’s 2.1.
- Henderson remains RB2 on the depth chart, but his team-long 14-yard carry in Week 1 proved he might be ready for an increased workload.
- The Ohio State grad averaged 10.5 TDs in his four-year college career.
- Dating back to November 10, 2024, Stevenson has just 1 rushing touchdown.
- The Miami Dolphins allowed 156 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns (both to QB Daniel Jones) in their Week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Jaguars vs. Bengals (9/14, 1:00 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase
- QB Joe Burrow’s lone passing touchdown in Week 1 went to TE Noah Fant.
- Ja’Marr Chase has not gone back-to-back games without a TD since Weeks 1 and 2 of the 2024 season.
- The last time the Bengals played the Jaguars (December 4, 2023), Chase racked up 11 receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown.
- Jacksonville allowed just 154 passing yards last week, though QB Bryce Young did manage a TD pass.
- Chase tied for a team-high 5 targets in Week 1, though he hauled in just 2 receptions.
Broncos vs. Colts (9/14, 4:05 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Colts RB Jonathan Taylor
- Taylor scampered for 71 of the Colts' 156 rushing yards in their Week 1 demolition of Miami.
- 77.8% of Indy's red zone rushing attempts went Taylor’s way.
- A pair of rushing TDs for QB Daniel Jones helped keep Taylor from crossing the goal line in Week 1.
- While he failed to score against the Broncos in their.December 15, 2024 showdown, Taylor racked up 22 carries and 107 yards.
- RB Tony Pollard was the lone Titans rushing option in Week 1 as he recorded 18 carries for 60 yards against a fierce Broncos defense.
Eagles vs. Chiefs (9/14, 4:25 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Eagles WR A.J. Brown
- Don’t let his Week 1 stats fool you: There’s very little chance Brown is again held to just 1 reception for 7 yards for the second consecutive week.
- Kansas City allowed QB Justin Herbert to throw for 3 TDs last week in Brazil.
- Brown is no stranger to succeeding against the Chiefs defense, having scored TDs against them in both Super Bowl LVII and LIX.
- The 28-year-old hasn’t had back-to-back games with fewer than 10 yards since the first two playoff games of his rookie season.
- Last week marked the last time Brown was held to under 10 yards since January 7, 2024.
Falcons vs. Vikings (9/14, 8:20 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Falcons RB Bijan Robinson
- While he was held to just 24 yards on 12 carries in Week 1, Robinson will be facing a Vikings defense that allowed 119 rushing yards.
- Neither RB Tyler Allgeier nor Robinson could get anything going against Tampa Bay, but Robinson is the safer bet, as he received 66.7% of the red zone carries and was on the field for 83% of the snaps.
- The 23-year-old picked apart the Vikings last season, putting up 22 carries for 92 yards and 1 TD.
- Robinson also led the Falcons with 6 receptions for 100 yards and a TD in Week 1.
Buccaneers vs. Texans (9/15, 7:00 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Bucs WR Mike Evans
- Evans and QB Baker Mayfield are likely foaming at the mouth after WR Puka Nacua had 10 receptions for 130 yards against this Texans defense in Week 1.
- The future Hall of Famer led the Bucs in targets (8) and receptions (5) in Week 1 despite 2 of Mayfield’s 3 TD’s going to rookie WR Emeka Egbuka.
- Even at 32, Evans only had one stretch last season (Weeks 2 and 3) where he failed to score.
- The 12-year veteran hasn't found paydirt in his two career games against the Texans.
Chargers vs. Raiders (9/15, 10:00 p.m. ET): TD Scorer Prediction
Raiders TE Brock Bowers
- Bowers’ 5 receptions for 103 yards in Week 1 was a relief for fantasy players who drafted him in the first two rounds.
- The lone passing touchdown the Chargers allowed against the Chiefs came from TE Travis Kelce.
- Despite not scoring against the Patriots, Bowers led the team in receiving yards and had the team’s longest reception (38 yards).
- Bowes is “hoping to play” and HC Pete Carroll expects he will, as Bowers has an extra day to nurse his knee injury.
