Jaguars vs. Bengals Prediction, Preview for 9/14/25
The Bengals and Jaguars both missed the playoffs last season. Cincy had a winning record at 9-8, but they finished third in the AFC North and lost out on a Wild Card spot. An injury to QB Trevor Lawrence put a hurtin' on the Jags, who wound up 4-13 and and finished in third place in the AFC South.
Cincinnati Bengals Preview
The Bengals were heavy favorites over the Browns in Week 1, but pulled out a narrow 17-16 victory. Burrow was off, completing just 60.9% of his passes. He had an un-Burrow-like pass percentage of 21.7%, and his receivers didn’t help him much, posting an 8.7% drop rate.
The Bengals were better on the road (6-3) than they were at home (3-5) last season. For his career, Burrow is 19-14 at home, while going 20-16-1 away from Paycor Stadium.
Jacksonville Jaguars Preview
The Jaguars knocked off the Panthers on Sunday, despite Lawrence's underwhelming stat line. He threw for just 178 yards to go along with 1 TD and a pick.
Jaguars RB Travis Etienne Jr. led the way, rushing 16 times for 143 yards. The former Clemson back played so well that the Jaguars traded RB Tank Bigsby to the Eagles earlier this week.
During their abysmal 2024 campaign, the Jaguars went 1-8 on the road. Lawrence is 9-21 on the road for his career. Part of the problem is that he has 28 interceptions in 30 career road games, compared to 19 interceptions over 31 home games.

Make Jaguars vs. Bengals Picks, Win Cash on PrizePicks
The Jaguars and Bengals will put their 1-0 records on the line in Week 2. If the Bengals are going to win, they will need Burrow to step it up. For the Jaguars to remain undefeated, their offense might need to lead the way, meaning ample targets for Hunter and Strange.
