The most-hyped race of the 2025 F1 season is here: The Las Vegas Grand Prix. Tonight at 11 p.m. ET on the Las Vegas Strip street circuit, you can watch your favorite drivers like Lando Norris and Max Verstappen battle to see who will take home the Las Vegas GP trophy.

Below, we'll take a look at our Las Vegas GP predictions and the main PrizePicks picks to target tonight, including a track map of the street circuit that winds around the famous Las Vegas Strip.

The World Drivers’ Championship race has gotten very interesting over the past couple of months leading up to Vegas. After struggling for most of the year, Norris has taken a 24-point lead over his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri and leads four-time defending champion Verstappen — driving for Red Bull — by 49 points.

It’s worth noting that Norris has not performed well in Sin City, finishing 6th and 16th in the two races here. Can he muster up a podium and extend his lead, looking to take home his first world title?

Let's dive into our F1 predictions for this weekend's race in Vegas.

2025 Las Vegas GP Track Map

2025 Las Vegas GP Track Map

The Las Vegas GP street circuit spans 3.8 miles in length and covers most of the major landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip. There are 17 high-speed turns and two DRS (Drag Reduction System) zones for drivers to pay attention to.

50 laps is the length of this night race, and drivers will hit speeds of up to 215 mph when racing down the main straight between turns 12 and 14, which covers Las Vegas Blvd and is where the race can be won (and lost).

Las Vegas GP Prediction: Lando Norris – 23.5 F1 Points

Norris has not performed well in the City of Lights, struggling to gain a foothold in the two previous runnings of this Grand Prix. However, we have never seen the Brit come to Las Vegas driving as well as he has been, and he could be ready to take over this tough street circuit.

Norris opined after Thursday night’s practice that the McLaren car was feeling better than it felt in previous years, so there is hope for the Papaya faithful that Norris will overcome his demons at this track, which include a dreadful 16th place finish in 2023.

Provided that Norris is able to turn in a solid qualifying session, he could be able to have more than this projection on a track that does not allow drivers to easily pass each other given the tightness.

2025 Las Vegas GP Picks for PrizePicks

These projections come straight from the PrizePicks F1 board — pick your drivers, predict whether they’ll go More or Less on their stats, and win cash if your selections hit.

Las Vegas GP Pick: Andrea Kimi Antonelli — 1.5 F1 Points

This is the young 18-year-old’s first time participating in this legendary race, but already he is making his mark, finishing second-fastest in the second free practice session.

Mercedes have historically done well at this event. The 2024 race was a 1-2 finish for Mercedes, with George Russell winning and Lewis Hamilton finishing runner-up, while 2023 had both Mercedes drivers finishing in the points at 7th and 8th.

Antonelli has been on a nice run of form in recent races, finishing in the top six in four of his last five races. The weather is expected to be similar to last year’s race, and the Mercedes car responds well to the cooler temperatures.
