We’re kicking off Week 8 of NFL football just like every week, by bringing you our NFL Week 8 preview and top DFS projections. But wait, there’s more! The NBA tipped off last night with a hot double header in the Western Conference. So as a treat, we’re dropping a few of our top NBA projections for this week.
We’re finally entering every sports fan’s favorite time of year. NFL and college football are in full swing, college basketball is arriving, the NHL dropped the puck last week, the World Series begins in a few days, and now NBA basketball is here.
There’s really no better time of the year than the nice mid-fall weather and sports on every single night of the week. All there is to do is lock in your DFS entries, then sit back and enjoy the ride.

NFL Week 8 DFS Projections
Pass Yards
Josh Allen - QB, BUF
It’s been a rough few weeks for the Bills and Josh Allen. A loss in England to the Jags, barely beating a NYG team led by a backup QB, and then a loss to the Patriots who looked as if they were tanking this season.
But this is a new week and Josh Allen will surely come in hot to get some momentum behind his team. In his last 5, he’s averaged 266.2 yards per game, almost exactly his projection of 266.5 this week. Allen and the Bills definitely need a get-right game on TNF.

Jalen Hurts - QB, PHI
Aside from their slip-up against the Jets, the Eagles have looked solid again all year. Leading the way has been QB Jalen Hurts. Last week they faced their toughest challenge yet in the Miami Dolphins and they absolutely crushed them.
This week Hurts and crew take on a division rival, the Washington Commanders. Hurts is averaging 291.6 in his last 5 but is only projected 254.5 this week against a team he threw for 319 against just a few weeks ago. Keep an eye on Hurts for some big yards this week.

Receiving Yards
Cooper Kupp - WR, LAR
After spending the first few weeks on IR and ruining many fantasy football seasons for those who drafted him, Kupp finally returned to play a few weeks ago and has quickly picked up where he left off.
Last week was a down week with only 29 yards, but the previous 2 he recorded 148 and 118. This week he’s projected at 91.5 against Dallas who need to make a statement. Their defense is tough but Kupp might prove tougher.

Top NBA DFS Projections - Thursday, October 26
Points
Damian Lillard - G, MIL
After years of trade rumors and summer of drama, Dame was finally traded from the Blazers to the Bucks. Though Jimmy Butler might have gone emo because of the failed Miami talks, we’re all just excited to see Dame tear it up with the Greek Freak.
Last year, Lillard averaged just over 32 PPG in his final season with the Blazers. In his Bucks debut, the all-star is projected to score 27 against the 76ers. He’ll be looking to make a statement so don’t be surprised if he goes off and does Dame things.

Pts+Rebs+Asts
Joel Embiid - C, PHI
The Process returns for another season in Philadelphia. Year after year of disappointing playoff runs but Embiid is still performing at the highest level. Last year the big man won league MVP as he averaged 33.1 PPG, 10.2 RPG, and 4.2 APG.
In his season debut, the MVP is projected to rack up 43.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts. That’s about 4 shy of his 2022-23 average. If the 76ers hope to make another run this year, Embiid will have to lead the charge early and send a statement to the Bucks in the East.
