More season-ending injuries have hit offenses across the NFL. Last week, the Dolphins lost RB De’Von Achane to a torn ACL. Elsewhere, Saints RB Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) will also be out for a stretch after being placed on injured reserve.

Offensive players usually dominate the headlines when it comes to injuries, but ailments to defensive players can have an equally significant impact on games.

Let’s examine the NFL Week 4 injury report for defensive players and the impact it can have on NFL picks for PrizePicks.

Week 4 NFL Injury Report: Defensive Linemen

Here are the defensive linemen to keep an eye on in the NFL Week 4 injury report for NFL picks on PrizePicks.

Rams DT Aaron Donald Injury Update

Following two years of retirement, Donald logged at least 33 defensive snaps in each of the last two games. It may have caught up with him, though, as he is out for Week 4 against the Eagles with a back injury.

On the back end, the Rams will also be without CB Jaylen Watson (shoulder), who should miss at least one week. Looking to exploit the absence of Donald will be Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, who has a PrizePicks projection of 69.5 rush yards.

Giants EDGE Brian Burns Injury Update

In yet another crushing blow for the Giants, Burns is out for the season with a torn ACL. He dominated with 16.5 sacks last year and has never played fewer than 15 games in a season. A lack of pressure could help Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett, who has a PrizePicks projection of 230.5 passing yards.

Ravens EDGE Trey Hendrickson Injury Update

Hendrickson is out for Week 4 after having surgery on his finger. With four seasons with at least 13.5 sacks under his belt, the Ravens’ pass rush won’t be nearly as formidable without him against Titans QB Cam Ward, who has a PrizePicks projection of 186.5 passing yards.

Week 4 Injury Report: Linebackers

Here are the linebackers to keep an eye on in the NFL Week 4 injury report for NFL picks on PrizePicks.

49ers WLB Dre Greenlaw Injury Update

The 49ers are reeling with injuries to their defense, including the absence of EDGE Nick Bosa (calf). Greenlaw injured his quadriceps in a 36-30 win over the Cardinals on Sunday and is now questionable for Week 4.

An even further depleted San Francisco defense could boost Broncos QB Bo Nix, who has a PrizePicks projection of 17 fantasy score.

Cowboys ILB DeMarvion Overshown Injury Update

Overshown (hamstring) will miss his third straight game for the Cowboys. CB Cobie Durant is also out, while S Malik Hooker (forearm) is trending towards playing. The Cowboys bolstered their secondary by trading for CB Joey Porter Jr., who will be available despite just joining the team.

Texans MLB Azeez Al-Shaair Injury Update

After suffering a groin injury in Week 3’s 19-17 loss to the Colts, Al-Shaair is considered week-to-week. His absence is noteworthy given his 103 tackles and 9 passes defended last season. It could lead to less resistance for Cowboys RB Javonte Williams, who has a PrizePicks projection of 59.5 rush yards.

Patriots OLB Dre’Mont Jones Injury Update

Defensive injuries will be an issue for the Patriots this week. Jones, ILB Christian Elliss (chest), and S Craig Woodson (shoulder) are all questionable. That’s in addition to CB Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) and DE Christian Barmore (shoulder) being ruled out.

It could lead to another juicy stat line from Bills QB Josh Allen in Week 4; he has a PrizePicks projection of a 22 fantasy score.

Eagles ILB Zack Baun Injury Report

Baun suffered a concussion in the Eagles’ Week 3 loss to the Bears and is out for Sunday. He's logged at least 123 tackles in both of the last two seasons. His absence may benefit Rams RB Kyren Williams, who has a PrizePicks projection of 57.5 rush yards.

Buccaneers OLB Rueben Bain Jr. Injury Report

Bain (groin) hasn’t played since suffering his injury in Week 2 and will be sidelined again Sunday. On the bright side for the Buccaneers, ILB Josiah Trotter and OLB YaYa Diaby are set to return. Over the first two games of the season, Trotter combined for 24 tackles.

Week 4 Injury Report: Defensive Backs

Here are the defensive backs to keep an eye on in the NFL Week 4 injury report for NFL picks on PrizePicks.

Panthers CB Jaycee Horn Injury Update

The Panthers are in trouble at CB with Jaycee Horn (quadriceps) and Mike Jackson (groin) both placed on IR this week. It’s not ideal timing for their matchup with the Lions, who average 31.0 PPG.

Being without Horn and Jackson will make it difficult to slow down Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, who has a PrizePicks projection of 75.5 receiving yards.

Lions S Thomas Harper Injury Update

Prior to their Week 3 matchup with the Jets, the Lions placed Harper (ankle) on IR.

He joins fellow Lions safeties Brian Branch (Achilles), Kerby Joseph (knee), and Avonte Maddox (foot) on IR, putting their secondary in a tough spot against Panthers QB Bryce Young, who has a PrizePicks projection of 247.5 passing yards.

Jets S Minkah Fitzpatrick Injury Update

After missing the last two games, Fitzpatrick (groin) is ready to return for Sunday’s game against the Bears. It’s not all positive news on the injury front, though, with OLD Kiko Mauigoa (quadriceps) out. The Jets aim to slow down Bears WR Rome Odunze, who has a PrizePicks projection of 32.5 receiving yards.

Seahawks S Ty Okada Injury Update

Okada (hamstring) and fellow Seahawks S Julian Love (calf) didn't play in the team’s 33-31 Week 3 loss to the Commanders. Love is cleared to return, but Okada is questionable for a Week 4 matchup against the Chargers.

A weakened secondary could benefit Chargers QB Justin Herbert, who has a PrizePicks projection of 199.5 passing yards.

Commanders S Nick Cross Injury Update

The Commanders will take on the Jaguars in London, but they will do so without Cross (illness), who didn't travel with the team. He was expected to be a significant upgrade for their defense after he posted at least 120 tackles in both of the last two seasons with the Colts.

In terms of good news for Washington, LB Frankie Luvu (groin) doesn't have an injury designation after missing the last two games.
