Week 14 NFL Injury Report for DFS
49ers RB Christian McCaffrey Out For At Least Six Weeks
An injury-plagued season for the 49ers became even worse Sunday when 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey suffered a PCL injury to his knee. He will miss at least six weeks, ending his regular season. The 49ers also placed RB Jordan Mason (ankle) on injured reserve, leaving 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo poised for a leading role moving forward. He has shown flashes when given an opportunity, averaging 5.9 yards on 42 carries this season.
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (Concussion) Out for Season
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence suffered a hard hit as he was attempting to slide on a run Sunday against the Texans, which cost Texans LB Azeez Al-Shaair a three-game suspension. The result was a concussion that required Lawrence to be carted off the field. He has since been placed on injured reserve and will not play again this season.
Jaguars QB Mac Jones will take over under center. In two previous starts this season, Jones combined for 249 passing yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions.
Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving Battling Hip Injury
Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving had a big game against the Panthers on Sunday, posting 185 total yards and a touchdown. He also received a season-high 25 carries. He emerged from the matchup with a hip injury that makes him worth monitoring leading up to Sunday’s game against the Raiders. Should he be unable to play, then Buccaneers RB Rachaad White would be in line for additional carries.
Jets RB Breece Hall Misses Thursday Practice
Jets RB Breece Hall is dealing with a knee injury and has missed Wednesday and Thursday practices, setting him up to likely miss Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. If he’s not ready to go on Friday, expect him to sit this week.
If Hall is out, rookie RB Braelon Allen would draw the start. Allen has averaged just 3.6 yards per carry this year, but will also contribute in the passing game.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford Dealing With Ankle Sprain
Rams QB Matthew Stafford sprained his ankle Sunday against the Saints. However, Rams head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Stafford won’t be restricted during practice this week, so expect him to be ready to play against the Bills.
Other NFL Week 14 Injuries for DFS
- Giants QB Tommy DeVito (forearm) was unable to play on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys. Despite him having added time off to recover, the Giants have named Drew Lock as their starting quarterback for Week 14. Lock threw for just 178 yards against the Cowboys, although he did have a rushing touchdown.
- Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is considered as week-to-week and looks to be in line to miss multiple games. When Goedert missed three games earlier this season, Eagles TE Grant Calcaterra combined for nine receptions for 93 yards. Good news for the Eagles is that WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) has returned to practice after missing two straight games.
- Raiders RB Zamir White (quadriceps) and Raiders RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) were both unable to play in Week 13 against the Chiefs. In their absences, Raiders RB Ameer Abdullah turned 10 carries into 39 yards. Raiders RB Sincere McCormick also posted 64 rushing yards on 12 carries. White missed Wednesday’s practice, while Mattison was limited. Should White and Mattison be out again Sunday, then Abdullah and McCormick could split carries again.
- Chargers WR Ladd McConkey caught nine passes for 117 yards against the Falcons in Week 13, but emerged from the game with knee and shoulder injuries. He was limited in practice on Wednesday, so he should be good to go in Week 14.
NFL Week 14 Pass Defenses to Target
Raiders Defense vs. Buccaneers
The Raiders have struggled to slow down the opposition through the air. Per 4for4 Fantasy Football, they have the third-highest pass EPA per play allowed (0.12) in the league. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 306 yards against them last week, marking just his second game of the season with at least 300 passing yards.
They could be in trouble against Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield, who has four games with at least 300 passing yards this season and his top weapon Mike Evans back. Evans posted an 8-118-1 line in a cake matchup against the Panthers last week.
PrizePicks to consider: QB Baker Mayfield 246.5 Pass Yards / WR Mike Evans 68.5 Receiving Yards
Buccaneers Defense vs. Raiders
Staying in that same game, the Raiders could also have success through the air. The Buccaneers enter this matchup with the eighth-highest pass EPA per play allowed (0.08) in the league, per 4for4. Raiders QB Aidan O’Connell has certainly had his ups and downs, but he did throw for 340 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs last week.
Tha Raiders have been ineffective running the ball, which should give O’Connell ample opportunity to air it out.
PrizePicks to consider: QB Aidan O’Connell 229.5 Pass Yards / TE Brock Bowers 66.5 Receiving Yards

NFL Week 14 Run Defenses to Target
Panthers Defense vs. Eagles
The Panthers have been playing better lately with QB Bryce Young, but this is a nightmare matchup for their defense against the Eagles. Behind RB Saquon Barkley, the Eagles have one of the best rushing attacks in the league.
Meanwhile, the Panthers have the second-highest rush EPA per play allowed (0.10) in the league. The Eagles are the vastly superior team and could race out to an early lead, which could lead to even more rushing opportunities for them in the second half.
PrizePicks to consider: RB Saquon Barkley 114.5 Rush Yards
Saints Defense vs. Giants
Drew Lock probably gives the Giants a better chance of keeping this game somewhat close. The Giants would likely love to rely on their running game, especially with rookie RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
Last week, the Giants split carries more evenly after Tracy’s fumble in Week 12. If the Giants give Tracy a significant workload this week over Devin Singletary, he could thrive against a Saints defense that has the third-highest rush EPA per play allowed (0.08) in the league.
PrizePicks to consider: RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. 58.5 Rush Yards
Week 14 NFL DFS Picks
Here are the top NFL DFS picks on PrizePicks for Week 14, including more projections from the PrizePicks NFL board.
Titans QB Will Levis 208.5 Pass Yards — More
The Titans couldn’t stop the Commanders from scoring last week, which resulted in Titans QB Will Levis attempting 37 passes. He finished with 212 passing yards, marking his third straight game with at least that many passing yards.
While Levis has had problems limiting turnovers this season, this is a low projection for him to hit in a matchup with the Jaguars. The Jaguars have one of the worst secondaries in the league, allowing the second-highest explosive pass percentage (17.13%), per 4for4.
Saints RB Alvin Kamara 80.5 Rush Yards – More
The Giants are on their way to securing a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Their defense has been partially to blame, especially for their inability to stop the run. They already have the fourth-highest rush EPA per play allowed (0.07) in the league, per 4for4.
Things will likely be even worse now that Giants DE Dexter Lawrence (elbow) is on injured reserve. Saints RB Alvin Kamara has rushed for at least 112 yards in two of his last four games and has the potential to reach at least 100 rushing yards again in this favorable matchup.
Best TD Scorer Pick: Titans WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (Demon)
Prior to this year, Titans WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine had never posted more than four touchdowns in a season. He already has eight this season.
He grabbed two touchdowns against the Commanders last week, marking the seventh time over his last eight games that he has reached the end zone. The Jaguars have allowed the second-most passing touchdowns in the league, leaving Westbrook-Ikhine with a great chance to record another touchdown.
Goblin Pick: Titans QB Will Levis 0.5 Pass TDs – More
We’re already on Levis to go more than his passing yards projection. We’re also on Westbrook-Ikhine to record a touchdown. For those looking for a safer option to attack the Jaguars bad secondary, this is also an appealing projection. Levis has recorded at least one touchdown pass in all but one of his starts this season.
Note: Goblin picks reduce your payout on PrizePicks, as they are easier projections to hit.
