In Week 7, the San Francisco 49ers (6-0) will hit the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons (2-4) at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 25. The 49ers come in as 2.5-point road favorites, and they would return a 1.63x payout if they win outright, per PrizePicks.

The 49ers remain one of three undefeated teams left, and they’re the first to reach six wins. In Week 6, they fended off a late push by the Washington Commanders to emerge with a 23-17 victory on Monday Night Football.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are coming off two straight losses in what’s been an up-and-down campaign. Last week, they tried to battle back from a big deficit against the Chicago Bears but ultimately fell 31-23.

Below, we’ll break down our 49ers vs. Falcons prediction and picks for NFL Week 7, including the spread, over/under, and top player picks for PrizePicks.

Despite navigating through a myriad of injuries, the 49ers continue to produce on offense, ranking third in PPG (29.5) and ninth in YPG (366.7). Much of that has to do with the highly efficient play of QB Brock Purdy, who’s tied for the league lead in passing TDs (14) and is averaging the second-most adjusted yards per attempt (9.6).

Unfortunately for San Francisco, its getting really short on wide receivers, as both WR Mike Evans and WR Deebo Samuel have been ruled out. The good news for the Niners is that they could be getting WR Christian Kirk back from injured reserve, who may immediately be thrust into a big role.

While the injuries are less than ideal, this is still an attack that boasts Purdy, RB Christian McCaffrey, TE George Kittle, and a strong offensive line, so the 49ers should remain plenty dangerous on Sunday.

San Francisco has also gotten excellent play from its defense, allowing the fourth-fewest PPG (18.3) and fifth-fewest YPG (300.0). The unit is still missing EDGE Nick Bosa to a calf injury, though.

On the other side, the Falcons are 16th in PPG (23.7) and are 12th in YPG (344.3). However, it’s worth remembering they struggled mightily without QB Michael Penix Jr. in Weeks 1 and 2, so those numbers could continue to trend upward.

Of course, the focal point of the offense continues to be star RB Bijan Robinson, who’s averaging the NFL’s third-most scrimmage YPG (130.8). Due to the Falcons going down multiple scores to the Bears, Robinson was held to just 9 carries last week, yet he still reached 61 rushing yards while averaging 6.8 per attempt.

Backup RB Brian Robinson has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, so Bijan could be relied on even more than usual against the Niners.

Atlanta’s defense has been middle of the pack, ranking 23rd in PPG (25.5) and 18th in YPG (335.2). The unit has done a good job of making life difficult for opposing QBs, though, ranking third in pressure rate (43.6%), via Sharp Football Analysis, and fifth in pass rush win rate (57%), per ESPN.

The pass rush might have to be at its best to slow down Purdy and the 49ers’ offense.

49ers vs. Falcons Prediction on Spread – 10/25/26

Here are the key stats and trends behind our 49ers vs. Falcons prediction on the spread for Sunday, October 25.

  • The 49ers come into the week ranked second in EPA/play (0.180) and first in success rate (51.9%) on offense, per RBSDM. In contrast, the Falcons are 23rd (-0.063) and 17th (43.6%), respectively.
  • San Francisco also ranks first in offensive DVOA, whereas Atlanta is 20th, per FTN.
  • The Falcons rely heavily on their run game. They average the fourth-most rush YPG (149.5) and second-most rush YPA (5.1).
  • Atlanta’s two wins have come against the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints, and in both cases, the team rushed for over 200 yards and scored multiple rushing TDs. The Packers rank 27th in rush EPA/play allowed (-0.024), while the Saints are 32nd (-0.003).
  • The Niners’ defense sits second in rush EPA/play allowed (-0.211) and gives up the sixth-fewest rush YPA (3.6).
  • San Francisco is 4-2 against the spread this season. It was favored by a touchdown or more the two times it failed to cover.

49ers vs. Falcons Picks, Player Stats for PrizePicks: 10/25/26

Here are the top 49ers vs. Falcons picks to target on Sunday, October 25. Today’s NFL picks for PrizePicks include Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey vs. Falcons: 60.5 Rush Yards

  • McCaffrey is averaging just 12.8 carries and 58.3 rushing yards per game, which is way down from the 18.3 carries and 70.7 per game he averaged in 2025. He’s logged fewer than 15 carries in three of his six games.
  • Due to all the Niners’ injuries at wide receiver, they could elect to utilize CMC more often as a pass-catcher. He saw a season-high 10 targets last week against the Commanders.
  • Backup RB Kaelon Black has consistently gotten touches this season, averaging 7.5 rush attempts per game.
  • Atlanta has been a difficult matchup for running backs, with the defense ranked eighth in both rush EPA/play allowed (-0.163) and rush success rate (36.6%).
  • The Falcons have allowed the fourth-fewest rush YPG (83.2) and seventh-fewest rush YPA (3.6).
Add Christian McCaffrey + 49ers to cover the spread to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson vs. 49ers: 19 Rush Attempts

  • Robinson is averaging 18.5 carries per game, but he could see an uptick in usage with Brian Robinson out. Brian averages 8.8 carries per game and has reached double-digit carries in three of six games.
  • The Falcons are 30th in pass rate over expected, per Sharp Football Analysis. As a result, Penix averages just 27.5 passes per game, which ranks 29th among quarterbacks.
  • Atlanta is only a slight underdog in this matchup, and it's also playing at home. That could make it less likely they fall into a deep hole and go to a pass-heavy attack like the Falcons did last week against the Bears.
  • This is a difficult matchup for Robinson, but he’s been incredibly efficient this season. Among RBs with at least 30 carries, he’s second in rush YPA (5.8) and first in yards after contact per attempt (4.72), per PFF.
  • The Falcons like to use the Robinsons in the red zone, as Bijan has 20 red zone carries while Brian has 6, per FantasyPros. Those 26 carries would rank as the league’s fourth most if it were one player, and with Brian out, Bijan could see every red zone rush on Sunday.
Add Bijan Robinson + Falcons to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.
