The NFL's North divisions look highly competitive this season. In the AFC North and NFC North, all eight teams have winning records. In the NFC North, the Vikings are 6-0, while the remaining teams are only two games behind.

That includes the Packers, who are on a three-game winning streak. They struggled early in the year, suffering lopsided losses to the Vikings and Falcons, but they have crushed their last two opponents, including a 31-7 win over their division rival, the Chicago Bears.

The Packers offense has lacked an efficient run game all season. They rank last in rushing yards per game (59.8), with RB Marshawn Lloyd leading the backfield with 122 rushing yards. For context, Chiefs RB and rushing leader Kenneth Walker III has rushed for more than 122 yards in three different games this season.

The good news is they'll get their primary RB, Josh Jacobs, back for this game after he was on the Commissioner’s Exempt List since the beginning of the season.

Plus, this offense has Packer QB Jordan Love. He’s currently fourth in passing yards (1,684) and eighth in passing TDs (11). Love likely has one of the best wide receiver duos, Christian Watson and Matthew Golden, who each have 500 receiving yards this season.

That Packers passing game might challenge a Lions defense that hasn’t stopped anyone this season.

Just a few years ago, with offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Detroit dominated both sides of the ball. While the offense has remained productive, the defense has regressed.

This season, Detroit's D ranks near the bottom in most categories, including 30th in points allowed per game (29.7), 31st in EPA allowed per play (+0.13), and last in total yards allowed per game (404.4).

The Lions likely stay in contention thanks to the league's highest-scoring offense (32.8). They also have one of the league's best skill-position players in RB Jahmyr Gibbs.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown rounds out the offense as one of the league’s top receivers. Although he’s only 21st in receiving yards (327), he has the third-most receiving TDs (5).

The Lions may need to utilize all of their offensive options to keep pace with the emerging Packers.

Packers vs. Lions Picks, Player Stats for PrizePicks: 10/25/26

Here are the top Packers vs. Lions picks to target on Sunday, October 25. Today’s NFL picks for PrizePicks include QBs Jordan Love and Jared Goff.

Packers QB Jordan Love vs. Lions: 23.5 Pass Completions

  • Love has a strong history against the Lions, proven by a 63.7% completion rate.
  • He ranks eighth in completions (135) and now faces a Lions defense that is allowing the most completions per game (29.0).
  • Even with Jacobs’ return, they might ease him in. This will allow the Packers to stick with their pass-heavy offense, which is third in passing play percentage (65.6%). Detroit is allowing the second-highest passing play percentage (64.9%).
  • Love has been one of the best quarterbacks on deep balls of 20 or more air yards, ranking second in passing yards (409) and fourth in completions (10). The Lions are vulnerable against explosives, allowing the most passing yards via deep balls per game (80.6).
Add Jordan Love + Packers to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Lions QB Jared Goff vs. Packers: 278.5 Pass Yards

  • This matchup could challenge Goff, as the Packers are sixth in passing yards allowed per game (193.3).
  • Gibbs is one of the best running backs in football, and the Lions may lean on him in a potentially favorable matchup against a Green Bay defense that ranks 18th in rushing yards allowed per game (114.3).
  • Goff is coming off an underwhelming performance in what should have been a positive matchup. He threw for just 209 yards against a Saints defense that’s allowing 239.7 passing yards per game (fourth-most).
  • The Lions could play more conservatively in the passing game against a Packers defense that leads the league with 9 INTs.
  • Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has struggled against the Packers recently, posting fewer than 60 receiving yards in the last three against the Packers. With his best weapon potentially limited, Goff’s passing production could suffer.
Add Jared Goff + Lions to your PrizePicks lineup now.
