2026 Fantasy Football Buy Low Players for Week 8
Here are key buy-low players to consider trading for in Week 8, along with their PrizePicks projections this week.
All stats via PFF, NFL Next Gen Stats, and rankings via FantasyPros.
Giants QB J.J. McCarthy – Buy Low
Week 8 Matchup: Bye
Giants QB Jameis Winston struggled in Week 6 against the Saints, so New York benched him, and QB J.J. McCarthy made his debut. McCarthy was stellar, throwing for 243 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT in just the fourth quarter, nearly helping the Giants stage a comeback.
After that performance, Giants head coach John Harbaugh named McCarthy the starter for a tough Week 7 road test against the Texans.
McCarthy looked fantastic throughout the game, throwing for 252 yards and completing 71.4% of his passes. He connected well with Giants WR Malik Nabers, who finished with 111 receiving yards, including a 42-yard reception.
The good news is that the Giants now have their bye week, giving McCarthy more time to work with the offense.

Broncos RB Jonah Coleman – Buy Low
Week 8 Matchup: vs. Chiefs
Back in Week 2 against Jacksonville, Jonah Coleman finished with 58 yards from scrimmage and scored his first NFL touchdown. The following week, he became one of the hottest waiver wire pickups, but the Broncos placed him on IR that same week.
Hopefully you had the patience to hold on to him, because it’s about to pay off. His 8.9 fantasy points didn’t lead the team; RB RJ Harvey did, with 14 fantasy points, largely thanks to a 54-yard TD reception.
The key takeaway is that the Broncos threw Coleman right into the deep end. He led the backfield in Week 7 against the Cardinals with 11 touches. Harvey and RB J.K. Dobbins combined for 11 touches. Coleman also led the backfield with 69 scrimmage yards.
The biggest reason for optimism for Coleman's role came when he was the go-to back in the fourth quarter and helped Denver ice the game, averaging 7.0 yards per carry.
As Coleman gets healthier, he could see more touches since Broncos head coach Sean Payton appears to trust him.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson – Buy Low
Week 8 Matchup: vs. Raiders
Garrett Wilson is an incredibly talented wide receiver who has recorded more than 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first three NFL seasons. He’s done this with a revolving door of quarterbacks; 11 QBs have thrown to Wilson, including Tim Boyle, Trevor Simian, and Brady Cook.
This season with Jets QB Geno Smith, he’s been reliable in fantasy and entered Week 7 as the WR9. You would think, with New York underperforming, it would keep feeding Wilson the ball. However, in Week 7 vs. the Dolphins, he was a non-factor. Wilson didn’t record an official target in the first half, as a penalty nullified his lone catch.
The Jets aren’t losing faith in Wilson as a lead wide receiver — opposing defenses are just making it tough. He still ranks second in route participation among wide receivers (91.8%), according to PlayerProfiler, but the opposition’s best defensive backs are locking him down.
This has helped Jets WR Omar Cooper Jr. emerge as the leading receiver, with 218 receiving yards and 2 TDs over his last two games. This could help Wilson because it may force opponents to focus on Cooper Jr. as well, freeing Wilson up for better matchups going forward.

2026 Fantasy Football Sell High Players for Week 8
Here are some key players to sell high on for fantasy football after overachieving, plus their projections on PrizePicks this week.
Browns RB Quinshon Judkins – Sell High
Week 8 Matchup: @ Steelers
The Browns hoped they had found their primary running back after Quinshon Judkins posted 998 yards from scrimmage in just 14 games last year. This season has not gone as well, as he’s 41st in the league in yards from scrimmage (427).
Judkins had his best performance of the season against the Titans, with 96 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. This was a favorable matchup for Judkins, as the Titans defense ranks 27th in rushing yards allowed per game (131.1).
It's difficult to believe Judkins can maintain this level of production. He averaged 5.6 yards per carry against Tennessee; previously, he had averaged more than 3.2 yards per carry in only one other game. He also posted a 47.1% rushing success rate last week, and his previous best was 29.4%.
Judkins appeals to potential trade partners because he’s the primary running back for the Browns, averaging 16.5 carries per game over his last four games.
If he can be productive with those opportunities, he’s likely a top 10 fantasy running back, but a lack of quality touches has him at RB18. This is a chance to trade someone coming off a rare great game and get a solid return.

Titans RB Tony Pollard – Sell High
Week 8 Matchup: @ Bengals
You could argue for buying low on Pollard, but for now, you should try to unload him.
Pollard rushed for 125 yards against the Browns, his best performance since last year when he rushed for 161 yards against the same Browns defense. His 25 carries were a season high, but that higher volume is likely because RB Tyjae Spears didn’t play due to injury.
The Titans being in a competitive matchup also likely influenced Pollard’s performance. The Titans are the league's worst offense, ranking last in yards per game (248.6) and points per game (15.4). This usually means they play from behind and abandon the run game.
A reason Pollard could become a buy-low is the rumors that he could be moved before the trade deadline. If he landed on a team where he would be the primary running back, he'd be a great buy, but he could also land on a team as a complementary player in a backfield committee.

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts – Sell High
Week 8 Matchup: @ Buccaneers
Having Kyle Pitts in your lineup right now feels like playing with house money. He has 4 TDs over his last three games and ranks as the TE3 during that stretch. Those touchdowns boosted his overall performance because he’s averaging only 41.3 receiving yards per game.
The reason for optimism is he’s getting more involved, averaging 26.3 routes run over the last three games compared to 16.5 in the first four. Unfortunately, that increase in routes hasn’t brought much production, as he ranks 18th among tight ends in fantasy points per route run (0.18).
Teams could start focusing on Pitts near the red zone, and the Falcons have other options. WR Drake London remains the primary receiver, and RB Bijan Robinson is one of the league's best dual-threat running backs.
Pitts’ lack of receiving yards is also a concern because if he’s left out of the end zone, it could be the difference between winning or losing a matchup.

- 37.5 Receiving Yards
