The San Francisco 49ers are one of the four teams on a bye for Week 8, meaning RB Christian McCaffrey won’t be available to fantasy football managers. The timing is at least favorable since he's dealing with a mild hamstring strain.

As we turn our attention towards those who will take the field in Week 8, some RBs may be in positions to exploit favorable matchups. Others, however, could struggle against tough foes.

Below, let's list some NFL Week 8 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em candidates for the RB position, including picks to consider on PrizePicks for Bhayshul Tuten, Rachaad White, and more.

Keep this analysis in mind when making your Week 8 fantasy football decisions.

Start: Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten

Game: Colts vs. Jaguars – Sunday, November 1, 1 p.m. ET

Bhayshul Tuten PrizePicks Projections: 61.5 Rush Yards, 14.5 Rush Attempts, 0.5 Anytime TDs

Bhayshul Tuten is well rested after the Jaguars had a bye during Week 7. He had one of his best performances of the season prior to that, posting 87 total yards and 2 TDs in a 34-31 loss to the Texans in Week 6.

Through six games, Tuten has reached the end zone four times.

In his first opportunity to lead a backfield, Tuten's proven to be elusive. Per PFF, he ranks fifth among 42 RBs with 25 forced missed tackles. He's also ninth in explosive runs (11). His 94 rushing attempts already surpassed his total of 83 carries over 15 games last season.

The Jaguars enter Week 8 as heavy favorites against the floundering Colts, who have already started to trade away veterans as their playoff hopes wane. On Tuesday, they shipped OG Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks and DT DeForest Buckner to the 49ers for draft picks.

If the Jaguars race out to a big lead early, they could use Tuten extensively to salt away the clock in the second half. That'd potentially leave him with a juicy stat line, especially considering the Colts rank 27th in rush EPA/play allowed, according to RBSDM.

Add Bhayshul Tuten + Jaguars to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Start: Commanders RB Rachaad White

Game: Eagles vs. Commanders – Sunday, November 1, 8:20 p.m. ET

Rachaad White PrizePicks Projections: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

The Commanders also had their bye in Week 7. The time off helps, but they remain shorthanded at RB with Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) on injured reserve. In the first game without him, Rachaad White logged 46 offensive snaps in a 23-17 loss to the 49ers.

He only had 7 rushing attempts for 27 yards, but he added 4 receptions for 30 yards and a TD. That was his second game of the season with at least 4 receptions.

RB Austin Ekeler is also in the fold for the Commanders, but he hasn’t been heavily used since being signed before Week 4. Even with Croskey-Merritt sidelined vs. the 49ers, Ekeler only logged 7 offensive snaps.

White seems to be in line to lead the Commanders’ backfield again in a favorable matchup against the Eagles, who were torched by Cowboys RB Javonte Williams for 155 yards and 1 TD on Monday Night Football.

He isn’t the only RB who's thrived against them; Philly is 31st in rush EPA/play allowed. After spending the first four seasons of his career with the Buccaneers, White has the potential to provide his best stat line since joining the Commanders.

Add Rachaad White + Commanders to cover the spread to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Sit: Broncos RB RJ Harvey

Game: Chiefs vs. Broncos – Sunday, November 1, 4:25 p.m. ET

RJ Harvey PrizePicks Projections: 11.5 Rush Yards, 22.5 Rec Yards, 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

RJ Harvey posted a receiving TD against the Cardinals during the Broncos’ 30-16 victory last week. He didn’t do much on the ground, though, turning 3 carries into 6 yards. He hasn’t topped 26 rushing yards in a game this season, leaving him to provide most of his value in the passing game.

However, he's totaled just 7 targets over the last three games.

The Broncos have a backfield by committee that consists of Harvey, J.K. Dobbins, and Jonah Coleman. Harvey played 16 offensive snaps last week, compared to 14 for Dobbins and 30 for Coleman. It was Coleman’s first game back after missing four weeks with an ankle injury.

Being part of a committee for a matchup against a Chiefs team that ranks sixth in rush EPA/play ceded isn’t a recipe for success.

Add RJ Harvey + Broncos to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Sit: Browns RB Quinshon Judkins

Game: Browns vs. Steelers – Sunday, November 1, 1 p.m. ET

Quinshon Judkins PrizePicks Projections: 53.5 Rush Yards, 13.5 Rush Attempts, 12.5 Rec Yards

The Browns earned a close 27-24 victory over the Titans on Sunday, and Quinshon Judkins played a key role in the victory. He finished with 17 rushing attempts for 96 yards and 2 TDs.

It was the third time this season that he had at least 17 carries in a game, as well as his first multi-TD performance.

As good as Judkins was on the ground, though, he was only targeted once in the matchup. That’s could be because of the return of RB Dylan Sampson from IR. Sampson, a superior receiving threat, finished with 3 receptions for 32 yards.

The Steelers rank ninth in rush EPA/play allowed and surrender the seventh-fewest yards per carry to RBs (3.64) in the league. However, they're tied for the third-most receptions given up to the position with 38.

This matchup might work more in Sampson’s favor.

Add Quinshon Judkins + Brown to cover the spread to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Tuten could have a heavy workload against a Colts team that struggles to defend the run, leaving him with plenty of upside for Week 8. White may also be in line for an expanded role during his own favorable battle with the Eagles.

Regarding backs who could struggle, the potential for Harvey and Judkins to lose some work might mute their stat lines.
