It’s been a very busy NFL offseason at PrizePicks. Even before the 2026 Super Bowl, our staff was already working to make the 2026 NFL season the best one yet, rapidly improving every part of the app.

Now, the start of the 2026 NFL season is finally here. To say we’ve achieved that would be an understatement.

You don’t have to take my word for it — log into the app and take a look. It may feel new to you, but that’s because we’ve been busy adding onto your experience.

But you don’t need to fear the changes. We’re here to walk you through everything we’ve introduced in the app so you can Run Your Game this NFL season.

From the addition of NFL winners, spreads, and totals, new ways to run your Lineups, and special promos for September — let’s catch you up on what’s happening on PrizePicks ahead of NFL Week 1.

Oh, and it’s worth mentioning — many of these updates apply to college football as well, if that’s your game. Let’s get into it.

All Your Football Picks Live on PrizePicks: Game Winners, Players, Spreads, & More

When you go to the NFL board, you won’t just see Player Picks anymore. We’ve added winners, spreads, and totals for every game — we call this Team Picks. Pick them straight up, or combine them with players — more on that below.

Payouts on Team Picks are listed as multipliers, so a $100 on a 2x entry will pay out $200.

  • Winners: Who will win the game?
  • Spreads: Will the team win by a large enough margin? For example, -4.5 means a team must win by 5 points to “cover the spread.”
  • Totals: Otherwise known as over/under. Will there be over or under this many total points in the game?

The best part? You can take these picks together (multiple teams to win) or combine them with players from the same game.

Combine Team Picks: Stack Multiple Winners, Spreads, or Totals

Let’s keep it brief here. The same way you can combine teams to win on other platforms. Now you can run that on PrizePicks. That’s right — you don’t even have to pick players anymore if it’s not the move.

Stack up to six game winners, spreads, or totals for higher potential payouts. Pick all NFL games, or mix and match sports, from CFB to WNBA.

And, you can even add players in the mix…

Make Team + Player Lineups

Just like you can stack your Team Picks together, you can also stack them with Player Picks, like pass yards, touchdowns, and more player stats.

Stack up to six Player or Team Picks for higher payouts. Must choose a minimum of two players, and they must be from different teams. That means there’s a max of four Team Picks when you’re adding players.

So you can run: 2 Players + 4 Teams, 3 Players + 3 Teams, or even 2 Players + 1 Team.

These lineups can only be played as Power Plays — you must win all picks to cash.

Reboots: NFL Injury Policy on PrizePicks

Gobby&Gobby, the fan protection firm, is protecting your NFL lineups from injury this season. If a player is injured in the first half, we’ve got your back, thanks to Gobby&Gobby!

PrizePicks will protect your lineup if any NFL player is injured in the first half of a game and doesn’t return.

We’re running back Reboots — the same injury policy we brought to the industry years ago.

If a player is Rebooted, you can still cash your Lineup, just with a lower payout. Learn more here.
