On Wednesday at the US Open, Mirra Andreeva will take on Coco Gauff in the final quarterfinal match on the women’s side.
Still just 19 years old, Andreeva broke through with her first major title at this year’s French Open, and this is the furthest she’s ever advanced at the US Open. Gauff won this title in 2023 and is riding a 10-match win streak dating back to her run to the Cincinnati Open title this summer.
Below, we’ll break down our Mirra Andreeva vs. Coco Gauff prediction, including recent form, match analysis, and a PrizePicks pick. The match is slated to start at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Coco Gauff has not only won 10 consecutive matches, but she’s 18-2 dating back to the beginning of Wimbledon. Her only losses over that span have come against top-10 players Karolina Muchova and Elena Rybakina.
In the round of 16, Gauff faced up-and-comer Iva Jovic in a highly anticipated all-American bout, and she passed the test with flying colors, defeating the 18-year-old 6-1, 6-4.
Gauff was relentless on return, winning 56% of her receiving points and converting five of her 11 break point chances.
The American has been on a roll, winning all four US Open matches without dropping a set. In fact, over her 10-match winning streak, the last nine have been in straight sets.
Up next for Gauff is another teenager in Mirra Andreeva.
The 19-year-old Russian had previously never advanced past the third round at the US Open, but she’s no stranger to making deep runs in Grand Slams, as this will be her fifth major quarterfinal. She got over the hump with her first Grand Slam title at the 2026 French Open, and many expect it will be the first of many for the teenage phenom.
Andreeva’s first three matches mostly went without a hitch in straight sets, but she did have to navigate an upset bid by Anastasia Potapova in the round of 16 before emerging with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 win. The match was unfortunately marred by Potapova injuring her knee in the last game, contributing to her losing the match’s final three points.
While Andreeva has enjoyed a fantastic season, she’s been unable to figure out Gauff in her young career, losing all five matches they’ve played. They met earlier this year in Rome, and Gauff emerged victorious in three sets.
Per Tennis Abstract’s Elo ratings, Gauff has a 67.2% chance to defeat Andreeva. The American has been scorching hot this summer, and the head-to-head record against her opponent will only further fuel her as she attempts to reach her second US Open semifinal.
