15. Bears QB Caleb Williams 📈

  • Passing Touchdowns: 22.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,525.5
  • Rushing Yards: 425.5

Welcome to the world of NFL preseason, where one week you're a scapegoat, and the next, a near-GOAT. Just look at Caleb Williams.

Williams and the Bears struggled early in camp, with new Chicago head coach Ben Johnson calling the offense “sloppy,” but they're starting to clean it up. Last Sunday vs. the Bills, Williams went 6-for-10 for 107 yards and a TD.

The stats are great, but it’s how he played that was noticeable. During the Bears' first possession, Williams capped off a 92-yard drive with a 36-yard TD pass to new target Olamide Zaccheaus. Williams threw with confidence on this drive, and avoiding the errors that plagued his rookie season.

It looks like the tough love from Johnson is paying off. That said, Williams is still one of the most controversial fantasy football picks in this season.

16. Packers QB Jordan Love 📉

  • Passing Touchdowns: 33.5
  • Passing Yards: 4,174.5

Let’s hope Love doesn’t have to bum a ride to Lambeau Field, because his ability to hitchhike is severely inhibited thanks to the thumb surgery Love had last week. Love had the surgery now he's ready to start inWeek 1, but there is still the risk that he won’t be ready or 100%, which drops him in the rankings.

17. Rams QB Matthew Stafford 📈

With Stafford back on the field in practice, it looks like he'll be ready for Week 1, a huge bump for the Rams offense.

WR Puka Nacua had a stellar sophomore season, averaging 90.2 receiving yards per game, 3 yards better than his rookie season. The Rams decided to move on from WR Cooper Kupp, but they replaced him with Future Hall-of-Famer Davante Adams, who posted his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season, despite switching from the Raiders to the Jets last season, .

Stafford has thrown for at least 3,700 yards and 20 TDs in three of his four seasons with Los Angeles, and with Adams in the fold, those numbers are well within reach again.

18. Patriots QB Drake Maye

  • Passing Touchdowns: 19.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,299.5
  • Rushing Yards: 425.5

19. Titans QB Cam Ward

  • Passing Touchdowns: 18.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,199.5
  • Passing INTs: 10.5

20. Jets QB Justin Fields 📉

  • Passing Touchdowns: 14.5
  • Passing Yards: 2,575.5
  • Rushing Touchdowns: 5.5
  • Rushing Yards: 625.5

Fields' performance against the Giants last week was worrisome for the entire Jets' offense. As a passer, the former Buckeye went 1-for-4 for 4 passing yards, Equally concerning is that he kept his throws safe by targeting players running quick slants, fades, and screens.

It would've been nice to see new Jets offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand let him go downfield, but that may not be the case.

21. Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa

  • Passing Touchdowns: 23.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,549.5
  • Rushing Touchdowns: 0.5.

22. Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence

  • Passing Touchdowns: 21.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,624.5
  • Rushing Touchdowns: 3.5

23. Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr.

  • Passing Touchdowns: 19.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,299.5

24. Panthers QB Bryce Young

  • Passing Touchdowns: 17.5
  • Passing Yards: 3,049.5

25. Colts QB Daniel Jones 📈

The second-least exciting quarterback battle, behind only the dumpster fire choices in New Orleans, has been settled. Daniel Jones will be the Colts starting QB.

Elevating Jones was a smart move for Indy because he has the experience and has proven to be the better passer. Richardson ranks 55th out of 55 QBs among QBs with at least 175 attempts in accuracy, completion rate, and TD:INT ratio — it's hard to start that guy.

Jones brings some mobility to the table for fantasy football upside, but has a better track record as a passer, thanks to his 64.1% completion rate compared to Richardson's 50.6%.

The Colts' offense has a lot of decent pieces; WR Michael Pittman has two 1,000 receiving yard seasons, and rookie TE Tyler Warren was an excellent pass catcher at Penn State. Jones will also have workhorse RB Jonathan Taylor in his backfield, who racked up the NFL's third-most carries in 2024.
