Come Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season, Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson will be catching balls from pseudo-rookie QB J.J. McCarthy, while his fellow NFC wideout Malik Nabers will partner with very, very veteran signal caller, Russell Wilson, and Ja'Marr Chase and QB Joe Burrow are expecting a bounceback season.

- 100+ Receiving Yard Game: 1.5
20. Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka 📈
- Receiving Yards: 625.5
- Receiving Touchdowns: 3.5
The health status of Egbuka's fellow Tampa Bay receiver Chris Godwin could have played a role in the Bucs' decision to grab the former Buckeye in the first round. Godwin was recently taken off the PUP list, but is not projected to play until October.
This is in addition to WR Jalen McMillian going on injured reserve with what's being called a “severe neck strain.”
This all put the spotlight on Egbuka, who scored a touchdown in the preseason Week 2 matchup against the Steelers, prompting Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield to call him an “absolute stud.”
Even when Godwin and McMillan return, Egbuka could edge them out in targets.

- 100+ Receiving Yard Game: 3

- Receiving Touchdowns: 5.5
29. 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall 📈
- Receiving Yards: 875.5
- Receiving Touchdowns: 4.5
- Receptions: 70.5
With WR Jauan Jennings “injured” and WR Brand Aiyuk not returning to the field until who-knows-when, Pearsall has carved out his role as the top wide receiver. However, do not think he landed this role by default; he earned it.
Last year, the rookie out of Florida made an impact late in the season after suffering a frightening gunshot wound. According to Reception Perception, last season, Pearsall had a 69.7% success rate vs. man coverage, an 82.7% success rate vs. zone, and a 75% success rate vs. press.
30. Eagles WR DeVonta Smith
- Receiving Yards: 849.5

45. Vikings WR Jordan Addison
- Suspended for first three games of 2025 season.
- Receiving Yards: 649.5
46. Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin
47. Chargers WR Quentin Johnston
48. Chiefs WR Marquise Brown
- Receptions: 52.5
- Receiving Yards: 575.5
- Receiving TDs: 3.5
49. Packers WR Jayden Reed 📉
- Receptions: 52.5
- Receiving Yards: 700.5
- Receiving TDs: 4.5
The 2024 Green Bay Packers wide receivers room was a fantasy football nightmare, with Dontayvion Wicks (76), Reed (75), Romeo Doubs (72), and Christian Watson (53) all getting more-or-less equal time.
Reed’s and rookie Matthew Golden’s ADPs aren’t far apart, with Golden at the PPR consensus of WR42 and Reed at WR47, but that could be due to Jordan Love's absence as he recovers from thumb surgery. This means Golden is at a discount in fantasy drafts, while Reed is a big question mark.
50. Cardinals WR Michael Wilson
- Receiving Yards: 525.5
51. 49ers WR Jauan Jennings
52. Texans WR Jayden Higgins
- Receiving Yards: 650.6
53. Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson
54. Falcons WR Darnell Mooney
- Receiving Yards: 725.5
56. Bears WR Luther Burden III
- Receiving Yards: 475.5
57. Panthers WR Xavier Legette
- Receiving Yards: 550.5
- Receiving TDs: 4.5
58. Chargers WR Mike Williams
59. Patriots WR Kyle Williams
60. Texans WR Jaylin Noel
(Out of Rankings) Raiders WR Jack Bech 📈
Rumors out of Raiders camp are that WR Tre Tucker and 2025 fourth-round rookie Dont’e Thornton have leapfrogged Bech on the depth chart. That is likely why those two have earned starts in the Raiders’ preseason games.
The Raiders’ offense needs a vertical threat on the other side of WR Jakobi Meyers and Thornton, and Tucker fit that mold. Last season, according to PlayerProfiler, Tucker had 19 deep targets (21st), and Thornton averaged 3.72 yards per route run at Tennessee. Bech managed just 2.49 yards per route run.
Raiders TE Brock Bowers was fifth in targets last season (153), and WR Meyers was 18th (129). This means there might be limited opportunities in an offense that could run the ball more this season, as they drafted RB Ashton Jeanty, leaving Bech as the odd man out.
