The Steelers have been mediocre on offense this season, ranking 18th in PPG (22.8) and 21st in YPG (320.5). QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown for multiple TDs in four straight games, though, most recently completing 33 of 49 passes for 253 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT in Pittsburgh’s win over Tampa Bay.

Their offense is working with limited depth at wide receiver, as WR Michael Pittman and WR Roman Wilson are both on injured reserve, and WR Ben Skowronek has been ruled out. However, rookie WR Germie Bernard has emerged as a reliable weapon for Rodgers, catching 11 of 12 targets for 87 yards and a TD last week.

The team has been solid defensively, ranking 12th in PPG (21.3) and seventh in YPG (307.5). This is further supported by the Pittsburgh D ranking ninth in defensive DVOA, per FTN.

The Saints like to play quickly on offense, flashing the league’s second-fastest neutral pace, per Sharp Football Analysis. This has contributed to averaging the fifth-most plays per game (67.0).

While this strategy has helped New Orleans average the 11th-most PPG (25.3), its actually just 20th in YPG (321.5). In Week 6 against the Giants, QB Tyler Shough completed 16 of 30 passes for 144 yards and 3 TDs while also rushing 5 times for 32 yards and another score.

The Saints have one of the NFL’s weaker defenses, tied for giving up the most PPG (29.7) while allowing the fourth-most YPG (377.7). That coincides with ranking 31st in defensive DVOA, too.

New Orleans is still without RB Travis Etienne and rookie WR Jordyn Tyson, who are both on injured reserve, but the team is otherwise relatively healthy coming into this matchup.

Steelers vs. Saints Prediction on Spread – 10/25/26

Here are the key stats and trends behind our Steelers vs. Saints prediction on the spread for Sunday, October 25.

  • Per RBSDM, New Orleans and Pittsburgh are practically identical in EPA/play, ranking 20th (-0.043) and 21st (-0.050), respectively. The same holds true for success rate, as the Saints are once again 20th (42.0%) while the Steelers are 21st (41.8%).
  • The same can’t be said defensively. New Orleans’ D is 27th in EPA/play allowed (0.077) and 32nd in success rate (49.7%). On the other hand, Pittsburgh’s defense ranks sixth in EPA/play allowed (-0.056) and ninth in success rate (41.9%).
  • The Saints particularly struggle at stopping the run. They give up the third-most rush YPG (138.0) and fifth-most rush YPA (4.8). They’re also dead last in rush EPA/play allowed (-0.003) and rush success rate (48.1%).
  • Pittsburgh is averaging the fifth-most rush EPA/play (0.020) on offense.
  • At 42 years old, Aaron Rodgers isn’t as mobile as he used to be and can sometimes struggle to avoid sacks. That might not be as much of an issue against New Orleans, a team that’s produced the fourth-lowest pressure rate (29.0%).
  • While most metrics suggest these two offenses are fairly even, the Steelers sit 12th in offensive DVOA compared to 25th for the Saints.

Steelers vs. Saints Picks, Player Stats for PrizePicks: 10/25/26

Here are the top Steelers vs. Saints picks to target on Sunday, October 25. Today’s NFL picks for PrizePicks include Germie Bernard and Kendre Miller.

Steelers WR Germie Bernard vs. Saints: 5 Receptions

  • Injuries to Pittsburgh’s wide receiver corps have led to Bernard seeing an increased role. Across his last two games, he’s played over 90% of the snaps and averaged 10.5 targets, 8.5 receptions, and 83.5 receiving yards.
  • Bernard has a miniscule 5.1-yard average depth of target, which ranks 68th out of 69 receivers with at least 20 targets this year, per PFF. While that could potentially cap his yardage ceiling going forward, it could also lead to a lot of easy receptions if this holds.
  • The Saints may defend the run extremely poorly, but they aren’t a strong pass defense, either. The team is 23rd in dropback EPA/play allowed (0.129) and 28th in dropback success rate (50.8%).
  • The Steelers like to pass the ball, ranking fourth in pass rate over expected this season, per Sharp Football Analysis. Rodgers is averaging the seventh-most pass attempts per game (38.8).
  • Due in part to New Orleans’ offense playing at a fast pace, its defense faces the ninth-most plays per game (64.7).
Add Germie Bernard + Steelers to cover the spread to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Saints RB Kendre Miller vs. Steelers: 12 Rush Attempts

  • While Miller is still splitting backfield work with RB Alvin Kamara and RB CJ Donaldson, he’s taken on a bigger role of late and saw a season-high 20 carries in Week 6. He also logged his highest snap share (44%) of the year.
  • Per Fantasy Points’ Ryan Heath, Miller saw a 59% backfield carry share in Week 5 and a 61% share last week. He’s gotten 6 of the team’s 7 rushes inside the 10-yard line over that span, too.
  • The Steelers’ defense is in the middle of the pack against the run, ranking 14th in rush YPG (103.2) and 16th in rush YPA (4.0). The team is also 17th in rush EPA/play allowed (-0.092).
  • Given the tight spread at a neutral site, it could be less likely that the Saints fall into a negative game script where they completely abandon the run.
  • New Orleans’ offense averages the fifth-most plays per game (67.0).
Add Kendre Miller + Saints to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.
