NFL Week 7 Cheat Sheet, NFL Picks & Predictions – Sunday, October 25
Below are the top NFL Week 7 predictions, picks, matchups, and players to target in the PrizePicks cheat sheet, including analysis of QBs, RBs, WRs, and TD scorers.
Unless otherwise noted, this article uses data from Sumer Sports, PFF, Pro Football Reference, and Next Gen Stats.
NFL Week 7 Cheat Sheet: Quarterbacks
Jets QB Geno Smith vs. Dolphins – 223.5 Pass Yards
Miami’s defense allows the sixth-most passing yards per attempt, second-highest passing touchdown rate, and highest passing success rate in the NFL.
Panthers QB Bryce Young vs. Buccaneers – 253.5 Pass Yards
Young is averaging 309.8 passing yards per game through five starts. He ranks eighth among qualifying quarterbacks in completion percentage over expectation. Tampa Bay is in the bottom half of the league in pressure rate despite blitzing at the fourth-highest rate, which may give Young an opportunity to exploit the extra time in the pocket.
Packers QB Jordan Love vs. Lions – 277.5 Pass Yards
Love has a big-play opportunity against a Detroit defense that allows the most passing yards per game (297.4) and a 128.7 passer rating on throws traveling at least 10 air yards, both among the league's worst marks. Love leads the NFL with 988 passing yards on downfield throws.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford vs. Raiders – 262.5 Pass Yards
Stafford averages 299.0 passing yards per game, the highest mark in the NFL, and now faces a Raiders secondary ranked 26th in EPA/pass (0.11).
Broncos QB Bo Nix vs. Cardinals – 220.5 Pass Yards
This is a great buy-low spot on Nix. The Cardinals have surrendered 8.5 net yards per pass attempt, the worst mark in the league. They have also allowed 4 completions of 40-plus yards.

NFL Week 7 Cheat Sheet: Running Backs
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren vs. Saints – 63.5 Rush Yards
The Saints' run defense has been atrocious to start the season. They rank dead last in both EPA/rush (0.04) and success rate (48.45%).
Vikings RB Aaron Jones vs. Colts – 39.5 Rush Yards
I don’t really understand this projection. Jones has had at least 40 rushing yards in every game this season; he is coming off back-to-back games with 24+ touches, rushing for 94 and 113 yards, respectively. The Colts defense is tied for 31st in EPA/rush (0.02).
Ravens RB Derrick Henry vs. Bengals – 86.5 Rush Yards
Henry let us down last week with only 14 rush attempts, but that presents a nice buy-low opportunity on a back who should be well rested after a low-touch game. The Bengals defense has given up the sixth-worst EPA/rush (-0.02) this season.
Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving vs. Panthers – 66.5 Rush Yards
Irving ranks third among running backs in yards after contact per carry, while Carolina is 29th in yards after contact allowed per rush.
Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs vs. Packers – 92.5 Rush Yards
The best way to protect this Lions defense from an explosive Green Bay offense is to run Gibbs as much as possible and keep Jordan Love off the field. Gibbs is averaging over 100 yards per game on the ground, and Green Bay sits 22nd in EPA/rush (-0.04).

NFL Week 7 Cheat Sheet: Wide Receivers & Tight Ends
Jets WR Garrett Wilson vs. Dolphins – 61.5 Rec Yards
Garrett Wilson has a 28.6% target share, ranking sixth among qualified NFL wide receivers. He also boasts a 37% air yards share, 13th best in the league. The Dolphins secondary ranks 31st in EPA/pass (0.28).
Packers WR Christian Watson vs. Lions – 76.5 Rec Yards
Watson has already caught 10 passes of at least 20 yards, including 3 for 40-plus, making him one of the NFL's best downfield threats. Detroit has allowed 404.4 total yards per game, the most in the NFL.
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb vs. Eagles – 82.5 Rec Yards
Lamb has carried an elite workload this season, with a 28.8% target share, the fourth-highest among NFL wide receivers. The Eagles secondary is 25th in EPA/pass (0.05).
Giants WR Malik Nabers vs. Texans – 68.5 Rec Yards
Nabers has topped 100 receiving yards in three consecutive games, and I can only assume this low projection is based on how good the Texans defense has been in the past. That is not the case this year, as the unit ranks 22nd in EPA/pass (0.22).
Packers TE Tucker Kraft vs. Lions – 49.5 Rec Yards
Detroit has surrendered a league-high 545 receiving yards to opposing tight ends, almost 100 yards more than the next worst team (Bills at 465). Kraft has seen 37 targets through six games and is coming off a season-high eight-target performance vs. Dallas.

NFL Week 7 Cheat Sheet: TD Scorers
49ers RB Christian McCaffrey vs. Falcons – 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)
McCaffrey remains a major part of San Francisco's scoring attack, and he handled 5 red-zone carries plus 2 targets inside the 20 in Week 6. He also has 6 carries inside the 5-yard line this season, giving him a clear path to finding the end zone.
Chiefs RB Kenneth Walker III vs. Seahawks – 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)
Walker has a massive role near the goal line, with 11 carries inside the 5-yard line this season and a 64% share of Kansas City's red-zone opportunities in Week 6.
Cowboys RB Javonte Williams vs. Eagles – 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)
Williams has handled 15 carries inside the 5-yard line and scored 6 TDs on those opportunities, making him one of Dallas' primary goal line options. Philadelphia ranks 27th in total defense, allowing 363.8 yards per game.
