There wasn’t a lot of offense across the NFL last week. There were 12 teams that scored fewer than 20 points in Week 6.
Leading the futility was the Los Angeles Chargers, who lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 22-6. As far as surprising outcomes go, the Cardinals over the Rams (18-16) was the most shocking result.
What matchups stand out in Week 7? Below, we’ll examine the schedule and discuss our best NFL Week 7 predictions, including picks for winners, spreads, over/under, team totals, and more on PrizePicks.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Las Vegas Raiders Prediction on Spread for NFL Week 7
Time + How to Watch: 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX
Their loss to the Cardinals last week dropped the Rams’ record to 2-4 for the season. They are tied with Arizona for last place in the NFC West, and hopes of winning the division are fading with the 49ers bursting out of the gate 6-0.
The road to the playoffs won’t get any easier, with star WR Davante Adams (hamstring) now on injured reserve. Complicating matters, WR Puka Nacua left practice Thursday with a calf injury.
Turnovers by QB Matthew Stafford have been an issue for the Rams. On his way to winning the MVP last season, he only posted 8 INTs. He already has 6 picks this season.
Their point differential is only -3 despite their losing record, so if Stafford can get his turnovers back under control, Los Angeles could get back on track.
The Raiders are coming off a difficult matchup against the Bills last week. They left with a loss but hung in until the end, losing 33-30. Raiders QB Kirk Cousins had 2 TDs, marking his fifth game with at least 2 scores through the air.
Las Vegas is only 3-3, but Cousins and their offense have helped them record a 5-1 record against the spread.
After beating up on the Dolphins, Chargers, and Saints over their first three games, the Raiders have lost three straight to the Chiefs, Patriots, and Bills.
Vegas covered the spread in two of the losses, scoring at least 27 points in both. The Raiders might lose again Sunday, but it could be a matchup that is decided in the final seconds by a slim margin.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings Prediction on Over/Under for NFL Week 7
Time + How to Watch: 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS
The Colts might have hit rock bottom last week with their 26-20 loss to the previously winless Titans. Following the loss, the team fired GM Chris Ballard.
Colts QB Daniel Jones was underwhelming again, throwing for 269 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs. He has 6 INTs for the season to go along with just 4 TDs.
The problem for Indianapolis hasn’t been RB Jonathan Taylor, who has rushed for 492 yards and 7 TDs. Jones has been unable to get into a rhythm, completing a career-low 59.6% of his passes.
With WR Alec Pierce (heel) on IR, their offense lacks a deep threat that can help take some of the attention away from slowing down Taylor.
A matchup against the Vikings could provide disastrous results for a struggling quarterback. They allow only 12.8 points per game, with their secondary playing a key role in their success.
According to RBSDM, the Vikings lead the league in dropback EPA/play allowed. The unit has allowed only 3 passing TDs while generating 6 INTs.
Minnesota puts a lot of pressure on quarterbacks, ranking fifth in sacks despite already having its bye week. Following his torn Achilles last season, Jones hasn’t looked as mobile as he was before the injury. He was sacked 22 times over 13 games last season but has already been sacked 15 times this year.
It might be a struggle for the Colts to put points on the board, which could make this a low-scoring game.

Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction on Spread for NFL Week 7
Time + How to Watch: 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS
One of the biggest surprises of the season is the Browns being 4-2 and tied with the Steelers and Ravens atop the AFC North. They have a winning record despite their -16 point differential.
Browns QB Deshaun Watson has been serviceable, recording 7 TDs and just 2 INTs. However, he threw for fewer than 200 yards in three of the last four games.
The reason the Browns are winning is because of their defense. Cleveland's D is 11th in dropback EPA/play allowed and sit second in the NFL with 19 sacks. The Browns' 59.7% completion rate allowed is the fourth-best mark.
A defense that puts pressure on quarterbacks and defends the pass well could be in for a field day vs. Titans QB Cam Ward.
Even in a win over the Colts last week, he only completed 11 of 22 pass attempts for 102 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. Ward has thrown for fewer than 190 yards in five of six games and has yet to emerge from a matchup with multiple touchdown passes.
With Ward playing so poorly, the Titans scored 18 or fewer points in four of their six games. In two of them, they emerged with single-digit points.
Their running backs haven’t been any better with RB Tony Pollard having just 1 rushing TD despite receiving 20 red zone carries. The Titans have the advantage of being at home, but their lack of offensive production puts the Browns in a favorable spot to record another victory.

The disappointing Rams could have their hands full once again when they take on a Raiders team that has been dangerous offensively with Cousins under center.
Jones’ poor performance for the Colts put them in a tough spot for their matchup with the Vikings and their stingy defense. Things have been much more positive for the Browns, who will look to remain atop their division as they face a Titans team that has played poorly with Ward leading the way.
