Since Drohan moved from the bullpen to the Brewers’ rotation at the beginning of June, he’s been solid across nine starts, producing a 3.80 xFIP, a 23.5% strikeout rate, and a 6.4% walk rate. 

According to most projection models on FanGraphs, the 27-year-old rookie is viewed as roughly a league-average starter, with ATC projecting a 4.19 ERA the rest of the way. That should be enough to give Milwaukee the edge between these two starters.

The Brewers may also have a sizable advantage at the plate. Milwaukee’s active roster is rocking a 112 wRC+, whereas Colorado’s bats have an uninspiring 96 wRC+. Over the last 14 days, the Brewers have dipped to a 100 wRC+, yet that’s still better than the Rockies’ 76 wRC+ over that span.
