Dodgers vs. Yankees Prediction, Winner Payout, Over/Under – Sunday, July 19

As of this writing, neither team has officially announced a starter for today's nightcap after both originally scheduled pitchers, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Cam Schlittler, were moved up to Game 1 of the doubleheader.

Additionally, yesterday’s scheduled starters are also out of the mix tonight, as both Emmet Sheehan and Ryan Weathers have had their starts pushed to Monday.

For the Dodgers, that leaves them with what’s expected to be a bullpen game. This could mean multiple innings from right-hander Landon Knack, who was recently activated from the injured list and made his first 2026 MLB appearance last week.

In that outing, the long reliever allowed 3 earned runs across 3.0 innings, which included coughing up a pair of solo shots. Over 114.1 career innings, the 28-year-old has produced a 4.45 xFIP, 23.2% strikeout rate, and 8.0% walk rate.

Los Angeles should otherwise have everyone in their bullpen available outside of whoever pitches in the day game. Per FanGraphs, the Dodgers’ active relievers have combined for the league’s fifth-best xFIP (3.67).

For the Yankees, 22-year-old righty Elmer Rodriguez could “potentially” get the start, as he was added to the MLB roster as the 27th man for the doubleheader.

While Rodriguez is a promising prospect for the Bronx Bombers, his four MLB starts haven’t exactly gone swimmingly, as he’s posted a 6.11 xFIP, 5.88 xERA, 12.0% strikeout rate, and 13.3% walk rate. On the bright side, he’s also recorded a solid 50.9% ground ball rate and allowed just one dinger, and he’s shown the ability to suppress home runs throughout his rise up the minors.

As for the offenses, it’s no surprise that both have been among the league’s best in 2026. That being said, the Yankees have been without OF Aaron Judge since the start of June, and they’ve put up a 93 wRC+ without him. During that same stretch, the Dodgers have logged a 111 wRC+.

Dodgers vs. Yankees Prediction on Over/Under – 7/19/26

Here are the key game stats and trends behind our Dodgers vs. Yankees prediction on the over/under for Sunday, July 19.

Lock in your Dodgers vs. Yankees prediction on PrizePicks now.
  • If Knack starts or enters the game for the Dodgers, he could have a tough time keeping the ball in the yard. Over his career, he’s allowed a whopping 2.05 HR/9 off a 47.7% fly ball rate and 12.5% barrel rate.
  • According to Baseball Savant, Yankee Stadium has the league’s third-highest home run park factor.
  • Over 12 Triple-A starts, Rodriguez owns a sparkling 2.85 ERA, but his underlying metrics tell a less encouraging story, headlined by a 4.19 xFIP, 24.2% strikeout rate, and 12.3% walk rate. This further makes an immediate turnaround in his MLB numbers feel less likely.
  • While the Yankees’ offense has seen a dip since Judge got hurt, if we look at the active roster’s work over the full campaign, they’ve still managed a 107 wRC+ and .185 ISO.
  • The Dodgers’ batters have produced an MLB-best 117 wRC+ this year.

Dodgers vs. Yankees Picks, Player Stats for PrizePicks: 7/19/26

Here are the top Dodgers vs. Yankees picks to target Sunday, July 19. Today’s MLB picks for PrizePicks include Max Muncy and Trent Grisham.

Dodgers 3B Max Muncy vs. Yankees: 5 Hitter Fantasy Score

  • While it’s a small sample size, Rodriguez has produced a poor 7.7% K-rate and 17.9% BB-rate vs. lefties over his four MLB starts.
  • In 2026, Muncy has produced a .364 xwOBA (87th percentile), .496 xSLG (88th percentile), 13.8% barrel rate (87th percentile), and 12.1% walk rate (82nd percentile).
  • Even at age 35, the Dodgers third baseman is in the midst of his third straight campaign with a wRC+ above 130.
  • Muncy’s bat has been quieter this month, but he’s still notched a .387 xwOBA over the past 14 days.
  • He’s seemingly come out of the All-Star break refreshed, too, as he slugged a 2-run bomb on Friday and logged multiple hits in Sunday’s day game.
Add Max Muncy to your PrizePicks Lineup now.

Yankees OF Trent Grisham vs. Dodgers: 5 Hitter Fantasy Score

  • Grisham has demonstrated strong plate skills, flashing a 16.6% strikeout rate (75th percentile), 14.0% walk rate (93rd percentile), and 16.7% chase rate (100th percentile).
  • Although the outfielder hasn’t shown the same power we saw in 2025, he’s still making plenty of loud contact through a 47.4% hard-hit rate (82nd percentile) and 10.8% barrel rate (70th percentile).
  • The lefty batter has performed well against both righties (114 wRC+) and lefties (115 wRC+), which bodes well for him in a Dodgers bullpen game.
  • Grisham typically bats leadoff, increasing the likelihood of additional plate appearances.
Add Trent Grisham to your PrizePicks Lineup now.
