Best College Football Anytime TD Scorer Picks – Saturday, October 3

With conference games, the stakes are increasing with long-season aspirations, like conference titles and the College Football Playoff, on the line.

Teams are determined to find the end zone more than ever, providing a great opportunity to find players who could score.

Anytime TDs on PrizePicks include rushing, receiving, recoveries, and returns. PrizePicks often list player TDs as Demons and Goblins, meaning users can only select "More." For standard projections, users can select “More” or “Less.”

Demons are tougher to win but are the only way to get higher payouts. Meanwhile, Goblins are lower than a standard projection, but they are easier to win, so there is a lower payout.

All stats are via CFB Stats, PFF, and Games on Paper unless otherwise noted.

Boston College vs. #21 SMU Anytime TD Scorer Prediction – 12:00 p.m. ET

SMU RB Kendrick Raphael: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)

SMU may have a tougher path to the playoffs after losing to #22 Louisville, followed by Louisville’s loss to unranked Wake Forest last week.

The Mustangs may need to win the ACC, or at least beat #3 Notre Dame in November, to boost their resume.

The SMU backfield was a committee at the start of the season, with RB Dramekco Green out-carrying Raphael 13-12 in the season opener against Florida State. However, Raphael has since become the primary back.

Over his last two games, Raphael has 47 carries, averaging 6.2 yards per carry, with 4 rushing TDs.

This matchup against Boston College presents another opportunity to put up big numbers. The Eagles rank in the 17th percentile in yards allowed per game (175.0), and in last year’s matchup, SMU ran for 231 yards and 3 rushing TDs in the matchup.

Add Kendrick Raphael + SMU to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

#8 Florida vs. #25 Missouri Anytime TD Scorer Prediction – 3:30 p.m. ET

Florida RB Jadan Baugh: 1.5 Rush TDs (Demon)

It’s been a long time since Florida was relevant in college football. It was almost 20 years ago when QB Tim Tebow led the Gators to two national championships in three years.

Florida might be turning it around under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall. The Gators are 4-0, sit in the top 10 of the AP Top 25 Poll for the first time since 2020, and just upset then-#4 Ole Miss last week, 52-28.

This offense looks like one of the nation's best, ranking second in points per game (53.5) and fifth in total yards (532.5).

The run game anchors the unit, and Baugh is one of the best running backs in the country, ranking second in rushing yards (600). More importantly, he’s a scoring machine, with an FBS-leading 11 rushing TDs, including at least 3 rushing TDs in three of his four games.

This initially looks like a tough matchup against Missouri, but a deeper dive suggests it might be smoke and mirrors.

Missouri ranks in the 77th percentile in rushing yards allowed per game (100.2) and has allowed just 2 rushing TDs. However, the Tigers' schedule had not been challenging before their matchup with Mississippi State a week ago, which is now up to #16 in the polls.

In last week’s game against Mississippi State, Mizzou struggled to stop the run, allowing 139 rushing yards. Mississippi State RB Fluff Bothwell led the way with 122 rushing yards and 1 TD.

The Tigers face a tougher task of stopping Baugh, as he hunts his fifth straight game with multiple TDs.

Add Jadan Baugh + Florida to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

#4 Miami vs. Clemson Anytime TD Scorer Prediction – 7:30 p.m. ET

Miami WR Malachi Toney: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)

Miami is coming off a season in which it reached the national championship game, and based on its current play, the 2026 team might be even better.

The Hurricanes have shown both offensive and defensive strengths early on and are the only team ranked in the top 10 of both scoring offense and defense.

Miami QB Darian Mensah appears ready to be a Heisman Trophy candidate, featuring the second-shortest payout to win the award (4.76x) on PrizePicks. He’s one of the nation's best passers, with fewer incompletions (12) than passing TDs (14).

Toney has been a catalyst for Mensah’s great start, as the 19-year-old establishes himself as one of the nation’s top receivers, ranking second in the country in YAC (243) and yards per route run (5.5).

Clemson has improved since being demolished by LSU 51-10 in Week 1. Over the Tigers' last three games, they have allowed 174.6 passing yards per game and 2 passing TDs. However, this will be Clemson’s first opponent ranked among the top 30 nationally in passing yards per game.

Toney’s potential matchup looks favorable. He will likely be covered by Clemson CB Ronan Hanafin, who primarily covers slot receivers like Toney, who lines up in the slot on 81.1% of his snaps.

Over Hanafin’s last two games against California and North Carolina, he has allowed 14.6 yards per reception and 7.6 yards after the catch. Now he faces college football's best slot wideout, as Toney leads the nation in receiving yards when lined up in the slot (479).

Add Malachi Toney + Miami to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.
