Even though Adell is still 27 years old, the Los Angeles Angels own the worst record (42-69) in the league entering the trade deadline.

3B Matt Chapman, San Francisco Giants

While the Baltimore Orioles are just outside the AL Wild Card picture, it may be best for both sides to prioritize a change of scenery. There are teams out there who would certainly be intrigued by a switch-hitting catcher who has shown upside before.

There are still positives in Rutschman’s profile, but it remains to be seen if the Orioles are fully prepared to move on from him.
