We couldn’t let the start of the 2026 NFL season come and go without giving you our staff’s Super Bowl picks. The Los Angeles Rams may enter as the clear favorites on PrizePicks to play in Los Angeles on Feb. 14, 2027, but with all of the shuffling and question marks around the league, the 2027 Super Bowl champion looks more wide open than ever.
Plus, the last 20 teams to be favored this heavily entering the NFL season have never won the Super Bowl, according to Ben Fawkes. That’s no trend to scoff at when it comes to the Rams.
So, without further ado, we asked some of our NFL experts to make their Super Bowl predictions ahead of the 2026 NFL season. While some do back the high-and-mighty Rams, other picks may surprise you.

2027 NFL Super Bowl Predictions: Rams, Seahawks the Favorites to Win the Super Bowl
To open the NFL season, we’ll get the top two Super Bowl favorites playing on back-to-back nights: the Seahawks in Wednesday’s NFL season opener, and the Rams on Thursday Night Football in Australia.
Below, you’ll find the full NFL Super Bowl favorites according to payouts on PrizePicks NFL futures.

We’ve all heard the term “superteam” thrown around at exhausting lengths, but the 2026 Los Angeles Rams may truly encapsulate that.
Last season’s team was already strong, going 12-5 in the regular season while advancing to the NFC Championship (lost 31-27 vs. Seahawks). According to RBSDM, the Rams tallied 0.149 EPA/play (second), while the defense gave up -0.069 EPA/play (seventh).
Frankly, the defense wasn’t that bad, allowing 21.3 PPG (10th) and 5.2 yards per play (14th). However, compared to the offense generating 30.0 PPG (first) and 6.1 yards per play (first), the weak link was on the defensive side of the ball.
How did Los Angeles respond in the offseason? The franchise casually traded for EDGE Myles Garrett — who is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year coming off an NFL-record 23.0-sack season — and two-time All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie. As if that wasn’t enough, Aaron Donald, one of the greatest defensive tackles of all-time, just came out of retirement to chase his second Super Bowl ring.
The offense should remain one of the league’s best, as QB Matthew Stafford comes off an MVP season with 0.252 adjusted EPA/play (fourth). WRs Puka Nacua and Davante Adams still form one of the league’s best tandems.
Nearly everyone under the sun is picking the Rams to win it all, and it comes with good reason. L.A. could be an inevitable buzzsaw in 2026, and that’s bad news for a Bills squad that upgraded its offense by adding WR DJ Moore to an elite offense.
Buffalo recorded 28.3 PPG (third) and 0.145 EPA/play (third), aided by QB Josh Allen’s 0.242 adjusted EPA/play (fifth) in the 2025 campaign.
The Bills could have enough firepower to make their first Super Bowl appearance since 1994, but if it’s the Rams on the other side of the field, Buffalo’s only chance will likely hang on a shootout in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.

Rams to win Super Bowl payout via PrizePicks: 5x ($100 to earn $500)
The Los Angeles Rams are clearly going all-in on whatever’s left of MVP QB Matthew Stafford’s career at 38 years old, and it’s hard to blame them.
Last year’s Rams team boasted the only offense with a success rate over 50.0% (52.2%, per RBSDM), and every major piece is back for the 2026-27 campaign.
Oh yeah, general manager Les Snead also went out and responded to the reason why L.A. wasn’t in Super Bowl LX by trading for McDuffie and signing his former Kansas City Chiefs teammate, CB Jaylen Watson.
It doesn’t hurt one bit that DE Myles Garrett was acquired via trade and DT Aaron Donald came out of retirement to chase a ring.
If the Rams’ offense is their most powerful trump card, the Houston Texans’ advantage is their otherworldly defense. Head coach DeMeco Ryans’ crew surrendered a league-low -0.097 dropback EPA/play in 2025, and that’s while owning the sport’s fifth-lowest blitz rate at 21.0% (via NFL Pro).
Houston is more than comfortable manning up opposing wideouts with a star-studded secondary and forcing opposing offenses to beat them that way. CBs Derek Stingley Jr., Kamari Lassiter, and S Calen Bullock are now joined by S Reed Blankenship, making the rich even richer.
Texans QB C.J. Stroud is betting on himself this year with his contract, and he has the roster to do it. In the end, though, Los Angeles has more firepower than any squad in the sport and has big-game experience on its side.
The only things standing in the Rams’ way this year might be injuries and bad luck. It’s difficult to pick against everything else.

Chris’ 2027 Super Bowl Prediction: Broncos def. Rams
Broncos to win Super Bowl payout via PrizePicks: 11.11x ($100 to earn $1,111)
The Broncos recorded their biggest postseason win in a decade when they defeated the Bills in the AFC Divisional Round last January. However, the win came at a cost, as QB Bo Nix suffered a broken ankle and was lost for the AFC Championship Game.
As a result, the Broncos were forced to face the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game with Jarrett Stidham under center, and the offense wasn’t the same — especially not in heavy snow. Denver managed just 181 total yards and ultimately fell short in a 10-7 defeat.
If Nix was healthy, it’s quite likely that he would’ve put enough points on the board to clinch a Super Bowl berth for the Broncos.
The Broncos made a splash this past offseason by landing star WR Jaylen Waddle in a trade with the Dolphins. Waddle gives Denver an impressive one-two punch on the outside and another weapon at Nix’s disposal.
After all, Waddle set the NFL rookie record for receptions (104) back in 2021, which has since been broken. The former Dolphins wideout has topped the 1,000-yard mark in three of his five professional seasons and hauled in 6 TDs in three of those campaigns.
According to PlayerProfiler, Waddle tallied a 23.3% target share with the Dolphins in 2025, but that rate could increase with the Broncos this season.
As sensational as I think the offense can be, the Broncos can be a Super Bowl contender because of their stingy defense. After all, Denver allowed the second-fewest yards per game (278.2) and surrendered -0.12 EPA per play (seventh in the NFL) last season. The Broncos return a very similar defensive unit, so it’s hard to imagine that they won’t be dominant once again in 2026.
With the additions of Garrett and Donald, it’s hard to go against the Rams. Obviously, a deep playoff run won’t come as a huge surprise for Stafford and company. However, the Broncos are a well-rounded group that will win the AFC West and ultimately hoist the Lombardi Trophy this season.

Mike’s 2027 Super Bowl Prediction: Texans def. Rams
Texans to win Super Bowl payout via PrizePicks: 14.28x ($100 to earn $1,428)
Think about everything that went wrong on offense for the Texans last season.
Joe Mixon (foot), who rushed for 1,016 yards and 11 TDs in 2024, didn’t play a single snap in 2025. Tank Dell (knee) also never appeared in a game. C.J. Stroud, who was limited to 14 games, came away with just 19 TD passes. Even with all of that, the Texans went 12-5 and finished with a +109 point differential.
The Texans have one of the best defenses in the league, holding opponents to 17.4 points per game last season. Only the Seahawks (17.2 points per game allowed) were stingier on defense.
The Texans should be excellent on defense again, but their offense could be much improved with the addition of David Montgomery at running back. They acquired WR Kayshon Boutte in a trade with the Patriots to boost their wide receiver position, and Dell could even return at some point in the second half.
The Rams are the favorites to win the Super Bowl with their star-studded roster, but how many times do super teams like that actually win the championship? I think they reach the Super Bowl, but I like the Texans to win the championship behind their defense and running game.

Bearman’s 2027 Super Bowl Prediction: Rams def. Chargers
Rams to win Super Bowl payout via PrizePicks: 5x ($100 to earn $500)
We are going all in on Los Angeles in 2027. Give me the Rams over Chargers in the Super Bowl, in Los Angeles — a home game for both teams.
Let’s start with the Rams, who are the consensus Super Bowl favorite to hold the Vince Lombardi Trophy come Valentine’s Day (yes, this year’s Super Bowl is on Feb. 14).
You could make the argument they were the best team last year, with the top-ranked offense in both total yards (394.6 YPG) and points (30.4 PPG), the MVP winner Matt Stafford at QB, and a top-10 scoring defense (20.4).
They finished the year second in DVOA, per FTN Fantasy, only behind the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks.
We may be talking about the defending champion Rams if they hadn’t blown a 16-point second-half lead on Thursday night of Week 16 in Seattle, but that’s what happened.
Now, all they did was trade for the reigning DPOY and NFL single-season sack record holder in Myles Garrett, get former DPOY Aaron Donald to unretire, fix their most glaring weakness via a trade for elite cornerback Trent McDuffie, and doubled down by signing his former Chiefs teammate CB Jaylen Watson to a three-year deal.
Over in the other Los Angeles locker room, the Chargers, coming off a Wild Card loss to the Texans, added former Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel as the offensive coordinator in the offseason.
His job is to unlock an offense that finished in the second half of the league in points, yards per play, and passing, despite having QB Justin Herbert behind center.
The reason was simple: the offensive line was 32nd in Pass-Block Win-Rate and 31st in Run-Block Win-Rate, per ESPN’s OL metrics. It was banged up all season long, starting with RT Joe Alt missing the entire season, resulting in Herbert rushing for a career-high 498 yards. That’s not what you want your franchise QB doing.
The Chargers line is now healthy, they have 2025 first-round pick RB Omarian Hampton as the lead back (and healthy), and McDaniel calling plays. Keep in mind, McDaniel turned Raheem Mostert into an 18-TD back in 2023.
If fully healthy, I could see Stafford and Herbert battling for MVP and meeting each other in their home stadium in February for all the marbles.

Austin’s 2027 Super Bowl Prediction: Buccaneers def. Texans
Buccaneers to win Super Bowl payout via PrizePicks: 33.33x ($100 to earn $3,333)
In 2025, I gave two “A+” draft grades to the Seahawks and Patriots. Though the Browns probably aren’t making it to SoFi Stadium, I’ve got to run it back after giving the Buccaneers co-valedictorian honors in April’s draft grades.
Tampa Bay injected life into Todd Bowles’ defense with Rueben Bain Jr., Josiah Trotter, and Keionte Scott, in addition to signing Alex Anzalone from Detroit in free agency. That’s really where their questions stem from, considering the team’s elite offensive talent at skill positions and Pro Football Focus’ third-ranked offensive line.
This team has won 59 games over the last six years, and Baker Mayfield — the ultimate “chip on the shoulder” competitor — enters with a cushy new contract with $110 million in guarantees.
From the AFC, the Texans are probably a unanimous frontrunner if we trusted QB C.J. Stroud and the team’s offensive line. They returned all 11 starters from a defense that led the NFL in EPA per play allowed (-0.17), per nfelo, and added Kayden McDonald in the top-40 picks of the draft.
Houston has gone to work repairing a protection unit that has scarred Stroud, bringing in reliable veterans like Trent Brown, Evan Brown, and Wyatt Teller to provide a floor. I still believe in Aireontae Ersery’s upside at left tackle, too.
Losing WR Jayden Higgins in training camp hurt, but they immediately replaced the deep threat with Kayshon Boutte for nothing. Those are the small maneuvers that have helped the Texans build arguably the deepest talent pool in the league.
Regression in these divisions could be key to solidifying the high seed that makes a Super Bowl run possible. Both teams avoided first-place schedules.
For the Bucs, Carolina and Atlanta have already battled significant injuries in camp. QB Tyler Shough struggled as a passer in two head-to-head matchups with Bowles’ blitz package, as well.
Houston had to smile when the Jaguars’ disaster of a draft came after losing Devin Lloyd and Travis Etienne in free agency. Daniel Jones is returning from a major injury. How big a leap could Cam Ward and the Titans take with their own defensive questions? Double-digit wins would be insane.
I think these are the best overall rosters in each conference, sporting great defensive coaches and functional quarterbacks — a formula that arrived in Seattle as a dark horse for me in 2025.

Christian’s 2027 Super Bowl Prediction: Cowboys def. Ravens
Cowboys to win Super Bowl payout via PrizePicks: 14.28x ($100 to earn $1,428)
Look, we could keep it real easy and say whoever wins the true rubber match between the Rams and Seahawks in the NFC Playoffs wins the Super Bowl this year. They’re the easy picks, and for good reason.
But let’s imagine a different world here, one where the teams I like make it to the Super Bowl — and also, actually could make it to the big one.
For the Cowboys: the fifth-ranked EPA/play offense from a year ago remains in-tact, and the 31st ranked defense is significantly improved. Those improvements come both via the health of key pass defenders like CB DaRon Bland, FS Malik Hooker, and LB DeMarvion Overshown, and new additions of first-round pick Caleb Downs, EDGE Von Miller, Rashan Gary, and CB Cobie Durant.
The defense still has some vulnerabilities, but not nearly as many as it did last year, when a game could get out of hand in a few lopsided possessions.
The Ravens are the real question mark, but there are just as many question marks around the AFC among teams I consider competitors. Except this question mark has two-time MVP Lamar Jackson under-center and has removed the wart that John Harbaugh was in high-leverage situations.
Derrick Henry looked as fresh as ever last year, and it’s hard to doubt him entering his age 32 season. While Jackson still doesn’t have elite weapons in Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and rookie Ja’Kobi Lane, if Jackson can stay healthy, this offensive system may give him the opportunity to thrive.
Let’s not forget that statistically, Jackson had his best season in 2024, and improvements to the defense — like adding DE Trey Hendrickson — should help take some weight of off his shoulders week-to-week.
My runners-up on each side of the league would be the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are stacked, especially on defense, so even with an aging Stafford, I have to back arguably a the best modern-day NFL coach to at least make the NFC Championship. The Broncos were a Bo Nix fluke injury and/or a sketchy turnover away from an AFC Championship last season, with one of the best NFL coaches of the 2000s on their side.
