The good news for the Ravens is their top wideout has avoided anything major. Although hamstring injuries can be tricky, as Flowers knows, he isn’t tracking to miss significant time.
According to a Monday morning report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Flowers is “day-to-day,” pending additional results from an MRI.

They caught a glimpse of the star receiver’s ceiling in Sunday’s win, when he ripped off 5 receptions for 150 yards and the aforementioned TD before the halftime break even hit. Flowers and Jackson continued to thrive as a duo, fresh off a year in which the two-time MVP recorded a 112.6 passer rating when throwing to him.
Rapoport signaling that Flowers may have returned if it were a playoff game can’t be viewed as anything other than a positive. With so much season ahead and Flowers already having dealt with a lower-body injury recently, it only makes sense for Baltimore to exercise a bit of caution with one of their top weapons.
The MRI will reveal additional specifics and could shift Flowers’ return timeline, but Week 2 sees the Ravens make their home debut against the visiting New Orleans Saints at 1 p.m. ET. After that is a Week 3 showdown with the Dallas Cowboys at 4:25 p.m., once again at M&T Bank Stadium.
Since joining Baltimore in 2023, Flowers has also dealt with calf, ankle, shoulder and knee injuries. Despite that, he managed to play in 16 games as a rookie before participating in all 17 in both 2024 and 2025.

Leaning into the rushing attack with RB Derrick Henry, who had 24 carries for 144 yards and 3 TDs on Sunday, is always a possibility as well. It’s as viable an avenue as anything for the Ravens, even with the star halfback being on the wrong side of 30.
