Cardinals vs. Pirates – 6:40 p.m.

In Cardinals SP Eric Fedde's 16 starts this year, 10 have been scoreless first innings, including a 7-2 road NRFI split. The Pittsburgh Pirates are currently 8-2 to the NRFI in their last 10 games, with 31 scoreless first innings in 44 games this year.
A first‐inning showdown will feature Fedde against veteran Andrew McCutchen, whom he’s held to just five hits in 22 career first‐pass plate appearances. Fedde has surrendered only a .232 average the first time through the order in 2025.
