The NASCAR Quaker State 400 gets started on Sunday, July 12, at 7:00 p.m. ET at EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, on TNT.

Sunday’s race features 260 laps spanning 400 miles at a drafting-style intermediate track. Due to changes at this track in the last few years, it mirrors the likes of Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.

Tyler Reddick captured the first race at Atlanta this season at the Autotrader 400, capitalizing on his win the prior week at the Daytona 500.

Chase Briscoe recorded his first victory of the season last week at Chicagoland, one week after finishing second at Sonoma.

Below, we'll break down our NASCAR Quaker State 400 predictions and pick to win for Sunday’s race, including top driver picks for PrizePicks.

NASCAR Quaker State 400 Winner, Top 10 Predictions for Atlanta – Sunday, July 12

Briscoe finished right behind Reddick in the first Atlanta event, which was a nice bounce-back after closing at 36th at Daytona.

Last year’s winner of this event was Chase Elliott, his second career checkered flag at this track. Elliott closed 11th at the February race in Atlanta after placing fifth at the end of each of the first two stages.

Denny Hamlin remains atop the NASCAR points standings after finishing third at Chicagoland last week. Hamlin hasn’t had much luck in Atlanta, winning once in 32 tries, coming back in 2012 when he finished ahead of Jeff Gordon.

William Byron finished in the winner’s circle at Atlanta in 2022 and 2023 but has closed 27th, 37th, and 28th in the last three events at this venue.

The favorite to win the Quaker State 400 is Ryan Blaney, entering Sunday's race (7:00 p.m. ET), according to PrizePicks Team Picks.

Blaney currently has a 6.66x payout ($100 pays out $666) if he wins, while several other drivers, including Elliott, are right behind him at a 9.09x payout to win at Atlanta, according to PrizePicks.

Payout multipliers listed below (like 2x) indicate real-money earnings if your NASCAR predictions are correct; for example, 2x on a $100 entry pays $200 if correct on PrizePicks Team Picks — available in 35 states, including Georgia. “Yes” payouts represent a specific outcome occurring, whereas "No" payouts indicate the opposite.

NASCAR Starting Lineup for Quaker State 400: Blaney Earns Pole Position

The NASCAR Quaker State 400 qualifying took place on Saturday afternoon at EchoPark Speedway. Blaney sits on the pole for the second time this season as he finished second at Bristol in mid-April.

In 10 of the past 12 Atlanta events, Blaney closed in the Top 10, capped off with a 10th-place finish in the February race. He seeks his 11th straight Top 10 finish overall, as he closed seventh at Chicagoland last Sunday.

Kyle Larson starts third on Sunday, looking to bust out of a bunch of droughts. He has yet to win in 19 races this season and is 0 for 43 since winning at Kansas last May. Atlanta hasn’t treated him well, going winless in 17 opportunities and crashing out in the February race and finishing 32nd.
