College Football Picks Today for CFB DFS on PrizePicks – Saturday, November 7
Thanks to a smorgasbord of options for top-25 games, we’ll focus on the headliners for our best college football picks across DFS projections on PrizePicks.
Beginning with the 12:00 p.m. ET lineup, #7 Texas and #18 Missouri battle on ESPN. Then, #5 Alabama and #14 LSU collide in Death Valley at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. And finally, #1 Miami vs. #11 Notre Dame (NBC) and #2 Georgia vs. #10 Ole Miss (ABC) take place under the lights with 7:30 p.m. ET kickoffs.
Today’s best CFB DFS picks for Saturday, November 7, feature LSU QB Sam Leavitt, Georgia RB Nate Frazier, and more.
Texas RB Michael Terry III vs. Missouri: 26.5 Rush Yards
- Texas is now navigating a backfield without RB Hollywood Smothers for the remainder of the season. He was out in Week 8 vs. Ole Miss and took only 14 snaps last week vs. Mississippi State.
- We’ve got a sample size without Smothers in the backfield. In Week 8, RB Raleek Brown had 48 snaps and 23 rushing attempts compared to RB Michael Terry III logging 20 snaps and 8 carries. Last week, Terry had 15 snaps and 4 carries, behind Brown’s 22 snaps and 8 attempts.
- Terry’s ability to generate explosives vs. Ole Miss caught the eye, featuring 2 10+ yard carries over 8 attempts. According to Fourth and Short, Missouri allows a 1.00 big play rating vs. the run (31st percentile).
- Further, the Tigers’ D looks slightly more susceptible on the ground, yielding a 42.0% rush success rate (43rd) compared to a 39.3% pass success rate (29th), via Game on Paper.
- Terry received double-digit rush snaps for the first time this season when Smothers was last out in Week 8. That immediately led to 41 rushing yards and an effective 5.1 yards per carry for the 6-foot-3 tailback.
Pick Michael Terry III + Texas to win on PrizePicks.
LSU QB Sam Leavitt vs. Alabama: 267.5 Pass Yards
- In an elite matchup with #5 Alabama ranked fifth nationally in adjusted EPA per play and #14 LSU placed first in the metric, Tigers QB Sam Leavitt enters this must-see matchup red-hot with 317.3 passing yards per game in his last three.
- LSU is up to a 48.26% pass play rate (52nd percentile), and that’s driven by Leavitt’s 39.0 passing attempts per game over his previous three, compared to 27.8 in the first five games of the season.
- The Bayou Bengals have opted for more attempts and shorter passing attempts for Leavitt, proven by 7.3, 3.6, and 8.5 average depth of targets (aDOT) in the past three. That’s a significant decline from Leavitt reaching at least a 9.5 aDOT in four of his first five contests of 2026, per Pro Football Focus.
- With that said, LSU will likely keep airing it out in Lane Kiffin’s offense, playing at a quick pace of 24.9 seconds per play (78th percentile), providing plenty of chances to stack passing yards.
- Alabama is an alarming 78th out of 138 FBS teams in pass success rate allowed (44.3%). The Crimson Tide are yielding 7.8 yards per passing attempt (32nd percentile), complimenting Leavitt’s 8.5 yards per passing attempt.
Add Sam Leavitt to your PrizePicks lineup.

Notre Dame QB CJ Carr vs. Miami: 245.5 Pass Yards
- PrizePicks has #1 Miami with the third-shortest payout to win the national championship (7.69x), and #11 Notre Dame is actually ahead of the Hurricanes — sporting the second-shortest payout (5.26x). The Fighting Irish have a chance to prove their worth for the College Football Playoff Rankings on Saturday night.
- Metrics point to Miami’s pass defense potentially being the biggest weakness of this matchup. In fact, the Canes’ 46.8% pass success rate allowed (103rd) is the only unit of this matchup residing outside the top 50 nationally in success rate — and it’s by a wide margin.
- Further, the Hurricanes have become a clear pass funnel by yielding 2.4 yards per carry (99th percentile) and 7.6 yards per passing attempt (39th percentile).
- Notre Dame has the tools to take advantage, with QB CJ Carr averaging 231.1 passing yards per game with 18 passing TDs and 1 INT. Plus, he has NFL upside, ranking 11th overall on NFL Mock Draft Database’s 2027 NFL Draft Big Board.
- Carr has only reached 30 passing attempts once this season, and that was in a 28-24 loss vs. BYU with 49 passing attempts for 261 passing yards.
- The potential NFL first-rounder has had plenty of air yards behind his throws of late, including 11.2 and 10.3 aDOTs in his last two.
- The Hurricanes permit a 1.52 pass explosiveness rating that ranks 59th out of 138 FBS teams — an underwhelming mark for one of the nation’s best.
- Miami’s pass defense worries are further elevated by a 14.1% havoc rate (25th percentile). Carr could have a picnic in the pocket thanks to Notre Dame’s 9.8% havoc rate allowed (96th percentile).
Pick More or Less for CJ Carr’s Pass Yards on PrizePicks.
Georgia RB Nate Frazier vs. Ole Miss: 54.5 Rush Yards
- The SEC provides another top-10 battle between #2 Georgia and #10 Ole Miss, and this is a clash of contrasting styles. The Bulldogs have a 55.66% rush play rate (75th percentile), while the Rebels tout a 53.70% pass play rate (85th percentile).
- Between the two areas, UGA’s rushing attack could feast. Ole Miss allows 0.07 EPA per rushing attempt (36th percentile), a 43.4% rush success rate (57th percentile), and 4.0 yards per carry (60th percentile).
- This is a mediocre run defense across the board, which includes the Rebs giving up 207 rushing yards and 4.9 YPC vs. Texas on October 24. For context, Georgia is 21st nationally in rush success rate compared to Texas at 80th in the category.
- The trick could be navigating the Dawgs’ backfield. RB Nate Frazier has battled injury most of the season, including 11, 12, 23, and 4 snaps in his first four appearances. The last two? He had 34 and 36 snaps.
- Frazier could finally be what we expected in the preseason — one of CFB’s best backs. In games with double-digit rushing attempts (two-game sample size), Frazier recorded 75 and 67 rushing yards, combining for 5.5 YPC.
- There’s little concern about efficiency, backed by his 3.79 yards after contact per carry with 34.7% of his yards coming from breakaway runs (attempts of 15+ yards).
Add Nate Frazier to your PrizePicks lineup.
