2026 WNBA All-Star Game Format, How It Works 

Each team will be competing for a $100,000 cash prize pool, with every player on the winning side also receiving a $10,000 bonus. Both teams represent Chicago-based charities that support women's sports, with the WNBA donating $75,000 to the winning team's charity and $25,000 to the losing team's.

The WNBA is borrowing from the NBA's playbook with a format featuring three 10-minute quarters and a fourth quarter that ends the moment a team reaches the designated target score.

The target score is determined by taking the leading team's score after three quarters and adding 8 points. From there, the clock disappears entirely, with both teams racing to hit the mark for a win.
