An Anytime Touchdown (Anytime TD, or ATD) is a stat type that asks one simple question: Will this player score a touchdown at some point during the game?

It doesn’t matter when — first drive or the final second counts all the same, and it doesn’t matter how many other times he touches the ball. One TD wins it if you take an Anytime TD pick, no matter he crosses the goal line.

What Type of TDs Count as Anytime TD?

To keep it simple: any way a player crosses the goal line with the ball counts as an Anytime TD. 

Four types of touchdowns qualify as Anytime TDs:

• Rushing touchdowns — the player carries the ball into the end zone on a run.
• Receiving touchdowns — the player catches a pass in or into the end zone.
• Fumble recovery touchdowns — a player scoops up a loose ball and returns it for the score.
• Return touchdowns — a kickoff, punt, interception, or blocked kick return that ends in the end zone.

As long as your player is the one officially credited with the score, it counts toward Anytime TD, no matter which of these four ways he gets there.

Do Anytime TD Scorers Include Passing TDs?

No, touchdown passes do not count as anytime TDs for the quarterback. If you want to pick on a QBs passing touchdowns, select the Pass TDs category on PrizePicks.

A passing touchdown is credited to the player who catches the ball, not the one who throws it. So if your Anytime TD pick is a quarterback, a TD pass does nothing for that pick — he needs to run it in himself.

That's why a quarterback who can scramble near the goal line — like Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes — carries more appeal on an Anytime TD board than a pure pocket passer.

What Does Anytime TD Mean on PrizePicks?

When a player is on the PrizePicks board for an Anytime TD, you're picking whether he scores — via any of the four methods above — during the game. Cash the More if he does; cash the Less if he doesn’t score a TD.
