Chicago has been one of the NFC's more productive offenses, averaging 25.7 PPG. The Bears have been particularly effective on third down, converting 44% of their attempts, something they'll have to routinely execute tonight if they’re going to win in Seattle.

Williams has thrown for 1,020 yards and 5 TDs against just 1 INT through four starts. His 71% completion rate is encouraging, although Seattle presents a significantly tougher test than some of Chicago's recent opponents.

The Seahawks have been particularly effective at limiting opposing passing attacks, allowing just 5.2 yards per attempt. They've also recorded 8 INTs, and their ability to pressure QBs and force mistakes could make it difficult for Williams to consistently generate gaudy numbers.

Seattle's offense owns 1,726 passing yards compared to 796 rushing yards, with QB Sam Darnold averaging 7.3 yards per attempt. With that said, his 8 INTs are a major concern against a defense that has shown the ability to be opportunistic.

The main reason for that offensive disparity has been the injuries to Seattle’s RBs. With Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price set to return tonight, the Seahawks may shift back to their run-dominant ways.

Starting LT Charles Cross and WR Rashid Shaheed are out, while Chicago will be missing its second-leading rusher, RB Kyle Monangai.

Bears vs. Seahawks Prediction on Spread for MNF – 11/2/26

Here are the key stats and predictions behind our Bears vs. Seahawks prediction on the spread for Monday Night Football.

Unless otherwise noted, data used in this article is from SumerSports, PFF, and Pro Football Reference.

  • Seattle's defense is the best unit on the field, ranking second in EPA/play (-0.118). The Seahawks have also limited opponents to just 17.9 PPG and rank second in explosive play rate allowed (4.4%).
  • The Bears are eighth in offensive success rate (47.0%) and ninth in EPA/play (0.052), but Seattle's defense counters that by being third in EPA/dropback (-0.065) and third in EPA/rush (-0.196).
  • Seattle is coming off a performance in which it held QB Patrick Mahomes to 165 passing yards while limiting the Chiefs to just 213 total yards.
  • Defensively, Chicago has been stronger against the pass than the run, ranking 11th in EPA/pass (-0.06) but 18th in EPA/rush (-0.07). This could be a problem against a now healthy and suddenly deep Seattle RB room.
  • The Seahawks also have a significant home-field advantage. They've won 10 of their last 11 games at Lumen Field and went 6-4-0 (60%) against the spread (ATS) at home last season.
  • Home teams are 29-10-1 ATS over the last three seasons with Shawn Smith as the lead official.

Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba vs. Bears: 101.5 Rec Yards

  • Finally, JSN is getting the respect he deserves with a triple-digit projection, but he's still averaging 123.9 YPG — well above this projection.
  • His 78 targets put him among the league's most heavily-utilized receivers, and his 74.4% catch rate is tremendous.
  • Chicago has struggled to defend explosive passing plays, ranking dead last in the NFL against throws traveling at least 20 yards downfield.
  • The Bears also sit 30th in defending passes over the middle, where 23% of Smith-Njigba's targets are directed.
