Lions vs. Vikings TD Scorer Prediction – 1:00 p.m. ET
Vikings WR Justin Jefferson
- After a quiet start, Jefferson’s volume is back. In his last four games, he averaged 10.8 targets and 100.5 receiving yards per game.
- This is the second season in a row that Jefferson went six consecutive contests without a TD. The last time he snapped the streak, he recorded 2 TDs in the seventh game (Week 14 of 2024).
- The return of QB J.J. McCarthy from injury might make Jefferson a security blanket against a bitter division rival.
- In just seven games, the Lions have allowed 11 TDs to WRs, the second-most in the NFL.
- Jefferson faced Detroit twice last season, combining for 10 catches on 17 targets for 135 yards and a TD.
Packers vs. Panthers TD Scorer Prediction – 1:00 p.m. ET
Packers TE Tucker Kraft
- Kraft comes into Sunday riding one heck of a hot streak. He has a TD in three straight games, including a 2-TD performance in Week 8.
- From Weeks 6-8, Kraft is a top-five TE in targets (21), yards (244) and TDs (4).
- According to SumerSports, no TE has accumulated more EPA than Kraft’s 46.88 in 2025. That’s despite him being sixth in target share (20.60%).
- The Panthers have surrendered the sixth-most yards (528) and eighth-most TDs (4) to TEs.
- Carolina’s defense is nothing to write home about overall, ranking 19th in points per drive.

Bengals vs. Bears TD Scorer Prediction – 1:00 p.m. ET
Bengals WR Tee Higgins
- After a slow start to the season, Higgins ascended upon QB Joe Flacco’s arrival. He logged 158 receiving yards and 2 TDs in five pre-Flacco games vs. 202 yards and another pair of scores with him.
- Whether Flacco plays through an AC joint sprain on Sunday is worth monitoring.
- Per Pro Football Focus, Higgins’ yards per route run in Weeks 6-8 (1.59, 2.18 and 1.33) were his three highest marks of the year.
- Entering Week 9, the Bears’ defense has given up the third-most TDs (10) to WRs.
- Higgins has 5 receiving TDs in eight career games against the NFC North.
Raiders vs. Jaguars TD Scorer Prediction – 4:05 p.m. ET
Jaguars RB Travis Etienne
- Following a down year, Travis Etienne’s stock is back up in Jacksonville. The fourth-year RB is posting a career-best 51.5% rushing success rate while averaging 84.9 scrimmage yards per game.
- Among 40 RBs with 50+ carries, Etienne ranks fourth in yards per attempt at 5.30.
- Coming off a bye and a couple of losses before it, Etienne and the Jaguars are well-rested and, presumably, motivated to right the ship in Week 9.
- The Raiders’ defense has yielded the third-most rushing TDs to RBs (8) this season.
- It is worth noting that despite averaging 6.1 yards per touch in Week 7, Etienne had his first game with fewer than 10 touches (9).
Bills vs. Chiefs TD Scorer Prediction – 4:25 p.m. ET
Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt
- With starting RB Isiah Pacheco nursing a knee sprain, it’s possible that Kareem Hunt receives a heftier workload for the Chiefs on Sunday.
- Hunt’s 0.18 EPA/rush ranks third of all RBs with 50+ carries.
- Via FantasyPros, Hunt’s 34.3 fantasy points in the red zone rank ninth. Everyone above him on the list has more red-zone touches.
- The Bills’ defense ranks a ghastly 28th in EPA/rush allowed at 0.04, per SumerSports.
- Buffalo has allowed 9 rushing TDs to the RB position, trailing only the Titans with 12.
Commanders vs. Seahawks TD Scorer Prediction: Sunday Night Football
Seahawks TE AJ Barner
- Don’t look at AJ Barner’s 1-catch, 7-yard showing against the Texans in Week 7 and write him off. Prior to that, he had 13 grabs on 13 targets for 156 yards and 3 TDs in Weeks 4-6.
- According to SumerSports, Barner’s 81.82% catch rate is tied for fifth among TEs with 100+ routes run.
- Barner is a legitimate red-zone threat. FantasyPros lists him as having 28.4 fantasy points there, the sixth-most at the TE spot.
- The Commanders have handed out the seventh-most yards (489) and fourth-most TDs (5) to TEs this year.
Cowboys vs. Cardinals TD Scorer Prediction: Monday Night Football
Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
- The possible return of QB Kyler Murray could have a positive impact on Marvin Harrison Jr., but QB Jacoby Brissett got the majority of snaps during Friday's individual drills.
- The star WR averaged 61.2 yards per game and logged 2 TDs with Murray from Weeks 1-5, compared to an average of 45 yards with no scores in Weeks 6 and 7.
- Per PFF, Harrison posts a healthy 2.16 yards per route run against zone coverage. It just so happens that the Cowboys feature plenty of Cover 2 (26%) and Cover 3 (35%), via Football Insights.
- It’ll be a talking point until it changes: Dallas has given up the most TDs (15) to WRs.
