Victor Wembanyama Injury Update: Is Wemby Playing Today vs. Trail Blazers?

The NBA injury report has Wembanyama as questionable in concussion protocol. He managed to go through some shootaround and warm-ups ahead of Game 3 but was ultimately ruled out.

Yesterday, Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson explained they are still working with the NBA to clear Wemby from the concussion protocol.

If he’s active, pick More or Less for Victor Wembanyama’s 26.5 points projection today on PrizePicks.

What Players to Target on PrizePicks if Wemby Is Out?

When Wembanyama is off the floor, Spurs G Stephon Castle (+4.6%), PG De’Aaron Fox (+4.0%), G Devin Vassell (+3.8%), and G Dylan Harper (+2.3%) see the largest increases in usage rate, per FantasyLabs.

Wemby played for only 12 minutes before sustaining the concussion in Game 2. Over the last two games, Castle has posted 25.5 PPG compared to 16.7 PPG in the regular season. Harper (11.8 PPG) also comes off a 27-point outing, becoming the second-youngest player to score 25+ points in a playoff game.

San Antonio C Luke Kornet enters the starting lineup when Wemby is out, recording 29.0 minutes per game, 12.0 PPG, and 9.5 RPG over his last two. That surpasses his regular-season average of 11.3 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 24.0 minutes per contest.

Here are the Spurs players who may benefit most on PrizePicks if Wembanyama is out — and their stat projections for Sunday.
