The Thunder enter NBA Finals Game 6 on the brink of winning their first championship since moving to Oklahoma City. The game will be played at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Pacers will have other ideas, hoping to force a Game 7 in Oklahoma City.

With Tyrese Haliburton likely to be limited with his calf injury, more weight will be put on the shoulders of PF Pascal Siakam, who has led the team in scoring through the postseason, with 21.0 PPG. Siakam is projected for 21.5 points.

Siakam's points projection is the most popular pick for NBA Finals Game 6 on PrizePicks, though he's only topped 21 points once in the Finals.

Below, we'll analyze Siakam's projections for PrizePicks for NBA Finals Game 6, including the top pick for Thursday's game.

Pacers PF Pascal Siakam – 6.5 Free Throws Attempted

Pascal Siakam Projections Today

The big news for the Pacers heading into Game 6 is that Tyrese Haliburton is questionable with a calf injury. Haliburton looked compromised in Game 5, scoring just four points and shooting 0-for-6 from the field. He did play 34 minutes and also contributed seven rebounds and six assists.

With Haliburton not scoring much in Game 5, Pacers PF Pascal Siakam stepped up to score 28 points over 33 minutes. That was the most points that he has scored in this Finals and it marked his third straight game with at least 20 points. In addition to his 15 shots from the field, Siakam had eight free-throw attempts.

Siakam has been aggressive at getting to the line throughout the Finals. He has attempted at least eight free throws in three of the five games. Going back even further, Siakam has averaged 7.5 free-throw attempts over his last 10 playoff games.

Even if Haliburton takes the floor in Game 6, it might be difficult for him to score in bunches given his injury. That should put even more of a scoring burden on Siakam, who has been attacking the paint early and often throughout the Finals. Also helping Siakam’s cause to get to the free-throw line is that the Thunder allowed the fourth-most free throw attempts per game in the league (23.7) during the regular season, likely due to their staunch defensive style.
