PrizePicks has always let you pick players. Last year, we launched Team Picks, which allows you to pick game winners, spreads, and over/unders.
Now, you can stack both teams and players in one PrizePicks Lineup — and we’ve made it easier than ever to pick both in the app.
Team + Player Lineups are the newest way to play on PrizePicks. Now, you can combine a Team Pick (winner, spread, or total) with 2-5 Player Picks into one Lineup.
SGA points and the Thunder to win. Aaron Judge home run and the Yankees' total runs. Karl-Anthony Towns rebounds and the Knicks to cover the spread.
One Lineup. One sweat. Bigger payout possibilities. Here’s how Player + Team Lineups work on PrizePicks.

Stacking Team + Player Picks: What You Need to Know
Here are the main details to know around combining Team + Player Picks in a single Lineup.
- Where to Pick: Player Picks board — all in one place. Click into a game to see Team Picks. Make your Player Picks anywhere they’re available in the app.
- Sports: All Player Picks are eligible, but only NBA, WNBA, and MLB are available for Team Picks for now. More sports are coming soon, including soccer for the 2026 World Cup.
- Team Pick markets available: Winner, spread, and totals only. No futures.
- How to Pick: Minimum 3 picks (1 Team Pick + 2 Player Picks), maximum 6 (1 Team Pick + 5 Player Picks).
- Lineup Details: Only 1 Team Pick allowed per Lineup. Team + Player Picks do not have to be in the same game or sport.
- Power Play only: Can only play Team + Player Lineups as Power Plays (must get all correct).
- How to Access: Under Player Picks, from the Explore or sport-specific board, choose a game, and add the winner, spread, or total from the top.
- Availability: Team + Player Lineups are available in 27 states — including California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia! See the full list here.
- Payouts: All payouts roll into your Player Picks wallet. If your Team Pick loses, your Player Picks can still pay out independently if you’re right.
- Promos: Promos are not available to use on Team + Player Lineups, including Payout Boosts, Protected Plays, and Discounts.
How to Stack Team & Player Picks in One Lineup on PrizePicks
Teams + Players in one Lineup just dropped on PrizePicks. Here’s how to make your first Team + Player Lineup on PrizePicks.
Not on PrizePicks yet? New users use promo code PLAYBOOK to get $50 instantly in Lineups after your first $5 Lineup.
1. Open the Player Picks Board

Everything starts on the Player Picks board — this is the only place to place a Team + Player Lineup for now. From the Explore tab, you can go directly to a single game — only NBA and MLB are available at launch. Or, choose a sport, then select your game.
Live games are indicated by a small red dot in the bottom right; upcoming games show the game start time.
2. Pick Your Players
Just like usual, select 2-5 players. Choose your stat category, hit More or Less, and build your Lineup. Player Picks do not have to be in the same game or sport as your Team Picks — you can make any picks available on the board.
Your Lineup must have at least 2 Player Picks from 2 different teams to submit your Lineup.
3. Add a Team Pick — Winner, Spread, or Over/Under

Now it’s time to stack your Lineup with a Team Pick — and see your payout grow. You’ll see the option at the top of the game page (in Step 1) to pick a winner, team to cover the spread (or winning margin), and the over/under (total points or runs scored).
4. Submit as a Power Play Lineup

Review your multiplier — it’ll be higher than your previous player-only Lineup — and submit. All Team + Player Lineups are Power Play Lineups, meaning you need to get every pick right to get paid.
5. Track Your Lineup Under “My Entries”
Your submitted Lineup lives under the “My Entries” tab on the bottom of the app after you submit. You can follow both your team result and player stats in one view.
What Sports Are Available for Team + Player Lineups?
Any Player Picks available in the app are eligible for Team + Player Lineups — there are no sport restrictions on Player Picks.
The Team Pick portion is where not all sports are available. NBA, WNBA, and MLB are available for Team Picks right now, with more sports coming soon including soccer for the 2026 World Cup.

Team + Player Lineups FAQs
In what states are Team + Player Lineups available on PrizePicks?
Team + Player Lineups are available in all 27 states where both Team Picks and Player Picks are available. Here is the current list:
Texas, California, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
What sports are available for Team + Player Lineups?
Any Player Picks available in the app are eligible for Team + Player Lineups.
However, only NBA, WNBA, and MLB are available for Team Picks right now, with more sports coming soon including soccer for the 2026 World Cup.
What does the “spread” mean?
The spread represents a winning (or losing margin) that your pick must accomplish to win your Team Pick.
For example, if the Thunder have a -12.5 spread vs. the Lakers, the Thunder must win by 13 points or more for you to win your pick. If you pick Lakers +12.5, the Lakers must lose by 12 or fewer points or win outright to win the pick.
Can I pick alternate spreads and totals as a Team Pick?
Yes, you can use alternate spreads or totals as your Team Pick. Alternates allow you to shift from the displayed spread to a lower or higher margin and the over/under to higher or lower total points scored.
To access alternate numbers, click the Spread or Total headings, where up and down arrows appear next to the heading.
Does adding a Team Pick increase my payout?
Yes. The Team Pick adds to your overall multiplier on top of whatever your Player Picks are paying out.
