Raptors vs. Heat Prediction, Spread, Over/Under

The Raptors put together an exceptional 12-3 record in November, but have fallen by the wayside this month. Toronto is just 3-6 in December and G/F RJ Barrett’s absence has been a major contributing factor to the team’s recent struggles.

The Duke product has sat 13 consecutive games with a knee injury and the Raptors have missed his offense. He’s formed a lethal three-headed monster alongside fellow wings Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes, all of whom average 19.0+ points per game. Toronto has posted just 103.6 points a night since Barrett last played. The Brooklyn Nets are averaging a league-low 109.1 points per game, so that’s far from ideal.

The Heat are also having a tough end to 2025, going 2-7 in December. However, they rank fifth in points per game (120.2) after finishing in the bottom third of the league last season.

G Norman Powell has established himself as the team’s first option, averaging a career-high 24.0 points per game in a season when G Tyler Herro has hardly been available. F Jaime Jaquez Jr. is back on the map after last season's sophomore slump, increasing his scoring by 6.8 points and his rebounding by 1.4 boards.

Herro (toe), Pelle Larsson (ankle) and Nikola Jovic (elbow) have been ruled out for the Heat. Barrett (knee) and Jakob Poeltl (back) are out for the Raptors.
