Week 4 brought another wave of injuries to key players, and many of them ended NFL picks before halftime even hit.
Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) left in the first half against the Jaguars; Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (hamstring) went down in the first quarter against the Rams; and Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle sprain), Bills WR DJ Moore (shoulder), Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (hamstring) and Commanders QB Marcus Mariota (knee) also exited early.
But on PrizePicks, an injury doesn’t have to mean a loss — you can still catch a W, thanks to the NFL injury policy. With the Reboot policy in Week 4, users won $2.3+ million with injury protection from Gobby&Gobby on 9 players.
Over the first four weeks of 2026, PrizePicks’ injury protection policy has helped users win nearly $16 million that would otherwise have been lost to early injuries.
Below, we’ll list every NFL player who got Rebooted on PrizePicks in Week 4, plus how much the injury protection policy helped users win this week.

NFL Injuries Week 4: Full List of Injury Reboots on PrizePicks
Ja’Marr Chase alone accounted for more than a third of the week’s total, with five more players topping $180,000 each.
Here are the NFL players who qualified for a PrizePicks Reboot this week — or injury protection — which helped users win over $2.3 million in Week 4.
By far the biggest single injury payout came after Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase’s injury, whose Reboot total came in at $891,552. Anytime TD picks made up just over half of it.
Chase suffered a concussion in the second quarter of Cincinnati’s loss to the Jaguars after his facemask was pulled and he was hit again on the way to the turf. He finished with 3 catches for 27 yards, went to the locker room, and was ruled out at halftime.
Chase is now in the league’s concussion protocol, and the turnaround is tight, so there’s a real chance he misses Week 5 against the Dolphins. If he sits, Tee Higgins should see a big boost in targets, though Tee Higgins left late in Week 4 with an adductor injury of his own and is now day-to-day.
If both sit out, Dohntae Myers — a 26-year-old rookie out of Delta State — will step into a key role for Joe Burrow. Myers racked up 7 receptions for 82 yards on 9 targets in Week 4.
Next up was Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, whose Reboot total came in at $485,959, with Rush Yards projections driving about 40% of it. Barkley hurt his hamstring on a six-yard run in the first quarter of Philadelphia’s 24-20 loss to the Rams and didn’t return. He’s considered week-to-week; while it isn’t a long-term injury, he’s likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Jaguars in London.
The backfield is thin, too. Tank Bigsby is headed to injured reserve after core muscle surgery, leaving Will Shipley as the only other running back on the active roster as of writing, making him.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, whose Reboot total came in at $252,276, was third on the board, with Rush Yards projections leading the way. Jackson rolled his ankle on the final play of the first half of Baltimore’s win over the Titans and didn’t return on a 25-yard run; he left the stadium in a walking boot and only has an “outside chance” of playing in Week 5, according to Ian Rapoport, and he could miss multiple weeks.

Bills WR DJ Moore, whose Reboot total came in at $241,399, was fourth, with more than half coming from Receiving Yards projections. Moore re-aggravated the shoulder injury he first suffered in Week 2, believed to be an AC joint sprain, and left late in the second quarter of Buffalo’s 29-26 loss to the Patriots after one catch for 11 yards.
Buffalo doesn’t play again until Monday night against the Rams on Oct. 12, which gives him an extra day to heal.
Chiefs WR Rashee Rice, whose Reboot total came in at $211,481, had about two-thirds of that from Receiving Yards projections. Rice pulled up on a 5-yard gain in the first quarter of Kansas City’s 30-27 win over the Raiders and didn’t return.
Head coach Andy Reid said Rice “tweaked” his hamstring; NFL Network reports the injury is relatively minor and he could be ready after the Chiefs’ Week 5 bye. However, a couple of weeks is more likely, making the bye week a plus for Rice not missing any time.
Commanders QB Marcus Mariota rounds out the six-figure Reboots, with nearly half coming from Pass Yards projections. Mariota was sacked on third-and-goal from the 6-yard line in the first quarter of Washington’s 30-13 loss to the Colts in London and didn’t return.
Coach Dan Quinn said Mariota has a sprained right MCL — the same injury he suffered in the Aug. 14 preseason game that kept him out of practice until Sept. 1. There’s no timetable yet, but it’s typically a multi-week injury. The silver lining for Washington is that Jayden Daniels (elbow) is expected to practice in full this week and may be ready to return in Week 5.
The rest of the board was made up of smaller Reboots. Chargers WR Ladd McConkey ($83,193) — who is now day-to-day with a re-aggravated foot injury — was the biggest of them, followed by Raiders WR Jalen Nailor ($14,619).
How the PrizePicks NFL Injury Policy Works
Injury protection has become a massive key for users across the industry this season, with other platforms rolling out their own versions of early-injury coverage.
PrizePicks has had users covered on injuries for years — the Reboot policy isn’t new, it’s just proving its value again and again as the NFL season goes on.
For our NFL injury policy, the Reboot policy applies to all regular season and postseason games. A pick qualifies as a Reboot when all of the following happen:
- You picked More on an eligible player’s full-game projection
- That player leaves the game in the 1st half
- The player does not return in the 2nd half
NFL defensive players and most special-teams players aren’t Reboot-eligible. Kickers and punters are the one exception — they qualify only if they’re listed as active but never record a single kick or punt.
Certain stat types tied to partial-game or limited-attempt achievements (like receptions of 10+ yards) also don’t qualify. Full details live in the NFL Reboot terms.

What Happens to Your Lineup When an NFL Pick Is Rebooted?
A Rebooted pick is marked a DNP, and your lineup drops one payout tier — it doesn’t wipe out the whole lineup. For example:
- 6-Pick Flex → 5-Pick Flex
- 5-Pick Flex → 4-Pick Flex
- 4-Pick Power → 3-Pick Power
- 3-Pick Power → 2-Pick Power
- 2-Pick Power/Flex → Refund
If more than one pick in a lineup qualifies for a Reboot, the lineup reverts down once for each Rebooted pick. And if you picked Less on a projection that ends up getting Rebooted, that pick still counts as a win.
