How Long Will Jaxson Dart Play in NFL Preseason Week 2?
Entering Saturday's game, it’s unclear how the Giants' playing time will be distributed. Head coach Brian Daboll didn’t reveal how long of a leash his starters will get in the club’s second preseason outing.
In last week’s win over the Buffalo Bills, first-string Giants QB Russell Wilson logged 13 snaps (16% of those available). But here in Week 2, Dart is a candidate to get an extended look after he had 21 dropbacks in preseason Week 1.
Given the Giants know what they have in fellow backups Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito, the stage is set for the rookie to get some additional experience under his belt in his first appearance in front of a home crowd.
