Of course, the biggest story for the Bears is the absence of Williams. Backup QB Tyson Bagent is coming off a concussion, too, so the team is expected to start third-string QB Case Keenum.  

Williams and the Bears’ offense looked ready to set records after dropping 59 points on the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, but they came crashing down to earth in a 9-3 home loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week.

Weather was partially to blame for the muted effort against the Vikings, though, and this Ben Johnson offense might be able to bounce back even with Keenum under center. 

Despite that low-scoring game, the Bears’ defense came into Week 2 ranked 15th in PPG (23.0) and 26th in YPG (362.0). This includes being ranked 21st in both defensive EPA/play (0.042) and defensive DVOA, too.
