How to Watch College Football Games Today – Friday, October 30
All three college football games today are on ESPN or ESPN2, so you can catch the full Friday slate with a cable or streaming package that carries ESPN.
Tulane vs. Charlotte is first at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Baylor vs. UCF follows at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Once Tulane-Charlotte ends, ESPN2 picks up Kent State vs. Sacramento State at 10:30 p.m. ET from Sacramento.
All three games have totals in the mid-to-high 40s, so don't expect any high-flying shootouts tonight. Expect close, grind-it-out football, with Baylor-UCF the tightest game on the board, with a 1.5-point spread.
Friday College Football Game Previews – October 30, 2026
Baylor vs. UCF – 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
Records: Baylor 4-3 (2-2 Big 12) | UCF 4-3 (2-2 Big 12)
Where: Acrisure Bounce House, Orlando, Fla.
Spread: BAY -1.5 | Baylor 1.78x, UCF 1.96x to win
- This is the Big 12 game of the night, and it's virtually an elimination game. Utah is 4-0 in conference play, with BYU, Arizona, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State all at 3-1. A third conference loss all but ends either team's chances of reaching the Big 12 Championship Game.
- Baylor fired Dave Aranda on Sunday after a 25-24 loss at Kansas, the Bears' first loss to the Jayhawks since 2007. Kansas blocked a potential game-winning field goal with 22 seconds left. Baylor started 4-1 and has lost two straight.
- Defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman makes his debut as interim head coach on a short week. His defense held Baylor's first six opponents to 20 points or fewer. The Bears need two more wins to reach a bowl.
- UCF is coming off the biggest win in program history: a 39-31 double-overtime win over then-#2 BYU, its first win over a top-5 team.
- QB Keyone Jenkins, starting in place of the injured Alonza Barnett III, threw for 293 yards and 3 TDs and ran for another. "Our backup is not a backup," Scott Frost said after the game.
- UCF is a different team in Orlando. All three of its losses (at Pitt, Houston, and Oklahoma State) came on the road. Baylor has won both meetings since UCF joined the Big 12.

Tulane vs. Charlotte – 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN2
Records: Tulane 3-4 (1-2 American) | Charlotte 1-6 (1-2 American)
Where: Jerry Richardson Stadium, Charlotte, N.C.
Spread: TUL -7.5 | Tulane 1.26x, Charlotte 3.57x to win
- Tulane's first season under Will Hall is slipping. The Green Wave are coming off a 42-19 home loss to UTSA, and are 0-3 on the road this season.
- The defense is the problem. Tulane ranks 122nd nationally in total defense, and freshman QB Trace Johnson threw 44 passes against UTSA as the run game stalled. Backfield and offensive line injuries haven't helped.
- The stakes: already at 1-2 in the American, a loss would put the reigning conference champs in danger of missing a bowl for the first time since 2021.
- Charlotte snapped a 15-game losing streak with a 38-31 win at Temple on Oct. 17, then had a bye. QB Conner Harrell threw for 281 yards and two scores and ran for two more in that game. The 49ers still rank 127th in FBS in total offense.
- Tulane beat Charlotte 27-0 last November.

Kent State vs. Sacramento State – 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2
Records: Kent State 3-5 (2-2 MAC) | Sacramento State 1-7 (0-5 MAC)
Where: Hornet Stadium, Sacramento, Calif.
Spread: KENT -7.5 | Kent State 1.29x, Sacramento State 3.44x to win
- This is the first-ever meeting between these two. Sacramento State is in its first FBS season as a football-only MAC member after 33 years in FCS, under first-year head coach Alonzo Carter.
- Kent State is coming off a 35-20 win over Akron, its best offensive output of the season. QB Dru DeShields accounted for 5 TDs, and WR Wayne Harris had 9 catches for 156 yards and 3 TDs
- The Golden Flashes have struggled on the road, scoring 12 total points in four road games. At 3-5 under second-year coach Mark Carney, Kent State needs three wins in its last four games to reach bowl eligibility.
- Sacramento State has lost five straight and has been held to 17 points or fewer in every game against FBS opponents.
- Starting QB Carson Conklin hasn't played since hurting his wrist in the opener, so Jackson Sharman has taken over at quarterback.
