Clippers vs. Jazz Prediction, Spread, Over/Under – Sunday, July 12

The 2025-26 season was one of change for the Clippers. The franchise chose to trade away star PG James Harden in a deal that brought PG Darius Garland to Los Angeles, while also acquiring SG/SF Bennedict Mathurin in a trade that sent C Ivica Zubac to the Indiana Pacers.

The team also shipped F Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors as part of a trade package headlined by SF Brandon Ingram. However, the deal is currently on hold pending the results of an investigation into the Clippers' alleged circumvention of salary cap rules.

Once the Leonard trade goes through, this roster has some very talented pieces. Los Angeles selected Wagler with the No. 5 pick in last month’s NBA Draft and also landed Cincinnati F Baba Miller with the 36th overall pick.

Meanwhile, the Jazz had an eventful offseason, trading C Walker Kessler to the Los Angeles Lakers in a deal that netted the franchise two first-round picks and two pick swaps. The team also re-signed veteran C Jusuf Nurkic and brought in another big man in C Jaxson Hayes during free agency.

Utah found themselves selecting at the top of the draft for the second consecutive season. After landing former Rutgers F Ace Bailey in last year’s draft, Utah selected Kansas standout Darryn Peterson with the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

The Jazz had a perfect 3-0 record during Summer League play in Salt Lake City and have gone 0-1 to begin the Las Vegas Summer League.
