The early returns on this new-look 76ers team have been excellent. They have won two games against two Eastern Conference teams that are expected to contend for the best record in the East.

With plenty of new faces, it’ll probably take time to work out the offensive kinks (103.8 offensive rating; 23rd in the NBA), but this team is too talented to stay in the bottom half offensively. G Tyrese Maxey has led the way so far, averaging 30.0 points per game.

Defensively, Philly has shined. Through two games, the Sixers own a defensive rating of 97.6, fourth-best in the NBA. Surprisingly, despite all the veterans on the team, they have operated at the fifth-quickest pace thus far.

The Bucks have the most roster turnover from last season, and it shows defensively. Milwaukee allowed 128 points to Washington and 132 to Chicago, two offenses that are not expected to light the world on fire this season.

They do have some offensive talent, though, scoring 116 points vs. Washington before putting up 125 vs. Chicago. Both defenses will likely rank in the bottom 10 in many defensive metrics this season, so take the Bucks' early offensive prowess with a grain of salt.

Herro erupted for 34 points on Friday, shooting 12 of 24 from the field and 5 of 10 from 3-point range.

Bucks vs. 76ers Prediction on Spread – 10/24/26

Here are the key stats and predictions behind our Bucks vs. 76ers prediction for the spread on Saturday night.

  • I trust the 76ers' body of work significantly more than the Bucks. Philly has played and defeated two of the East’s elite teams, including last year’s NBA champions. Milwaukee has dropped two games to a couple of teams that may not even make a 10-team postseason in the East.
  • This will be Philly's easiest matchup on both ends of the court while also being the toughest matchup the Bucks have faced this season.
  • Milwaukee has many defensive issues, including a lack of rebounding. C Myles Turner has never been a good rebounder, and this team relies far too much on PF Kyle Kuzma to clean up the glass. As a result, the squad ranks 22nd in total rebounding rate (47.5%) so far.
  • With both teams sitting in the top five in pace through two games, this doesn't strike me as a game where Milwaukee can find a cover by slowing the pace and limiting possessions. On the flip side, it seems more like a game where this putrid Bucks defense will get exposed again and again.
  • The 76ers are holding opponents to the fifth-fewest 3-point attempts per game (31), which may trouble the Bucks, who are generating 42.3% of their points from the 3-point range (third-most).

Bucks vs. 76ers Picks, Player Stats for PrizePicks – 10/24/26

Here are two Bucks vs. 76ers player picks to consider on PrizePicks, featuring Tyler Herro and Tyrese Maxey.

Bucks G Tyler Herro vs. 76ers: 20.5 Points

  • Herro is by far the best effective weapon on this Bucks team, and they will need his scoring tonight if they want to keep pace with a Philly offense that should get buckets at will.
  • He is leading the Bucks, averaging 28.0 PPG and 20.0 field goal attempts per game. And 9.5 of those attempts per game have come from long range, giving him a ton of scoring upside.
  • Herro also leads the Bucks in usage rate (33.1%) by a country mile, with the next highest being C Ke’lel Ware (24.3%).
  • Both teams rank in the top five in pace, meaning we should get a back-and-forth affair that favors Herro’s preferred style and boosts offensive production.
Add Tyler Herro to your PrizePicks lineup now.

76ers G Tyrese Maxey vs. Bucks: 34.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts

  • Maxey has opened the season averaging 30.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. That works out to 39.0 combined points, rebounds, and assists (PRA), comfortably above this projection.
  • His scoring has been particularly impressive. Maxey scored 28 points against New York before adding 32 against Cleveland, shooting 50% from the field in both games.
  • Playing time is another important factor. Maxey has logged about 41 minutes per game to start the season, giving him plenty of opportunities to produce across all three categories.
  • Milwaukee's defensive struggles are a major reason to like this matchup. The Bucks have allowed 130.0 points per game in two contests and carry the third-worst defensive rating (121.5).
  • He will often be checked by Tyler Herro and G Ryan Rollins, who both have below-average defensive ratings of 119.6 and 115.7, respectively.
  • The up-tempo projected pace of this game favors Maxey’s play style and is conducive to offensive success.
Add Tyrese Maxey to your PrizePicks lineup now.
