Patriots vs. Bears Anytime TD Scorer Picks for Thursday Night Football – October 22
All of a sudden, this looks nothing like the Patriots crew that got throttled 35-6 by the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 and fell to 1-2 on the year. New England has ripped off three consecutive victories, putting together 100 points in that span and bringing its average yards per drive rank to seventh.
QB Drake Maye’s improved play is a major reason why, although he has his work cut out for him with multiple offensive linemen hurt against a defense that allows football’s fourth-lowest success rate (40.1%, per RBSDM). Additionally WR Romeo Doubs (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve this week.
The Bears, meanwhile, welcomed QB Caleb Williams in Week 6 after a multi-game absence following a hamstring injury. He certainly reintroduced himself to the NFL, completing 30 of 36 passes for 305 yards and a TD.
Even with him missing three contests, Chicago’s offense still sits top-12 in points and yards per drive. Fueled by a strong rushing attack and a multitude of viable pass-catching options, this is a team to be reckoned with.
That begs the question: Who could do the scoring for these teams in prime time?
Anytime TDs on PrizePicks include rushing, receiving, recoveries, and returns. PrizePicks often list Anytime TDs as Demons and Goblins, meaning users can only select "More." For standard projections, users can select “More” or “Less.”
Demons are tougher to win but are the only way to get higher payouts. Meanwhile, Goblins are lower than a standard projection, but they are easier to win, so there’s a lower payout.
Patriots WR A.J. Brown vs. Bears: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)
- A.J. Brown returned from his ankle injury in Week 6 and while he did have some drops, he still received a hefty 10 targets on 76.5% of available snaps.
- Fantasy Points Data reveals that Brown had a 16.3-point gap between his expected and actual fantasy output, the biggest discrepancy for a WR since 2021. Positive regression could be in his future.
- According to SumerSports, Brown’s 22.95% target share ranks 26th among all NFL WRs.
- Brown has historically fared extremely well against the Bears, combining for 23 catches, 414 yards, and 3 TDs in three games.
- Chicago cedes 9.7 yards per target to WR1s, via Sharp Football Analysis, which ranks 22nd. The Bears give up an 11.8 mark to outside wideouts, the highest figure in the sport.
Add A.J. Brown + Patriots to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.
Bears RB D’Andre Swift vs. Patriots: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)
- The veteran RB has already scored 6 TDs on the year, finding the end zone on three occasions in his last two games alone. Each score has been on the ground.
- D’Andre Swift has 26 carries in the red zone which, per 4for4, ranks fourth in the NFL. He’s logged 40.6% of Chicago’s rushes inside the 20, 48.7% of its carries inside the 10-yard line, and 52.0% inside the 5.
- Teams in neutral situations run 7.1% more than the league average of 43.3% when facing the Patriots’ defense.
- Swift can factor into the game as a pass catcher, too. Per Zain Dhanani, he’s fourth of 35 qualified RBs with an average of 1.75 yards per route run and first with a 2.95 mark vs. two-high coverage.
- Fellow backfield mate Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) is sitting out TNF, so there could be increased volume waiting for Swift.

Bears WR Luther Burden vs. Patriots: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

- Only seven pass catchers (RBs, WRs, or TEs) have more red-zone targets than Burden’s 9 this season.
- Via Pro Football Focus, Burden’s 5 contested catches puts him in a tie for 18th at th WR spot.
- Burden is producing 2.19 YPRR, slotting in 22nd among all wideouts with at least 50 routes in 2026.
- The former Missouri standout racks up a 28.0% share of targets per route run vs. man coverage, paired with a 2.28 YPRR ledger. New England runs the second-most man coverage in the sport.
