Best College Football Anytime TD Scorer Picks for PrizePicks – Friday, November 6

With these matchups carrying so much importance, there's ample incentive to run up the scoreboard on Friday night. Three players, in particular, might just be in the best spots to do so.

Anytime TDs on PrizePicks include rushing, receiving, recoveries, and returns. PrizePicks often lists Anytime TDs as Demons and Goblins, meaning users can only select "More." For standard projections, users can select “More” or “Less.”

Demons are tougher to win but are the only way to get higher payouts. Meanwhile, Goblins are lower than a standard projection, but they are easier to win, so there is a lower payout.

All stats are via CFB Stats, PFF, and Game on Paper unless otherwise noted.

Virginia Tech vs. SMU TD Scorer Prediction – 7 p.m. ET

SMU RB Kendrick Raphael vs. Virginia Tech: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

SMU has little room for error if it wants to make the ACC Championship. The good news is that they face #16 Wake Forest next week. If the Mustangs win this Friday and beat Wake Forest next week, they could move into the top two in the conference and strengthen their chances of reaching the ACC Championship.

They still have to worry about Virginia Tech this week, however. The Hokies, like the Mustangs, have only two conference losses.

The best way for SMU to win seems to be to put the ball in RB Kendrick Raphael’s hands. He’s been a reliable player and has kept the Mustangs competitive by sporting 5 rushing TDs, the third-most in the nation since Week 3. SMU giving Raphael only 14 carries could explain why it was upset by Syracuse last week.

Virginia Tech has allowed 9 rushing TDs in five ACC matchups, so the Hokies can be vulnerable on the ground. They’ve also given up 6 rushing TDs from 10 yards or closer; Raphael has 6 such scores.

Add Kendrick Raphael + SMU to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Nevada vs. New Mexico TD Scorer Prediction – 9 p.m. ET

New Mexico RB Scottre Humphrey vs. Nevada: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

It is a momentous week for New Mexico, as the program is ranked in the AP Poll for the first time in its history. Jason Elk's hiring in 2025 has made the program relevant, and last year it posted its first winning season since 2016.

New Mexico's offense and defense have played very well throughout this five-game winning streak, averaging 33.2 PPG and allowing 13.4. Its balanced play has helped it reach first place in the Mountain West and be the only team undefeated in conference play.

The Lobos’ run game has anchored this offense. During the streak, they've averaged 5.1 YPC with 15 rushing TDs.

RB Scottre Humphrey has played a key role in the running game. He's a prime example of a downhill power back, rushing mostly through the line of scrimmage and embracing the contact. He’s also tough to take down, ranking 13th in the nation in average yards after contact per carry (3.7, minimum 110 carries).

This could be a great matchup against Nevada, which is sixth in the Mountain West in rushing YPG ceded to conference opponents (174.8). Nevada has allowed just 5 rushing TDs in four conference matchups, the third-fewest in the Mountain West.

With that said, last week Humphrey faced a San Jose defense that had allowed only 2 rushing TDs in four games leading up to its matchup against New Mexico. Humphrey ran for 2 TDs in that outing.

As long as New Mexico gets near the goal line, it very well could use Humphrey to finish the drive. Of his 11 rushing TDs, 10 have come inside the 10-yard line, and 8 have come from inside 5 yards.

Add Scottre Humphrey + New Mexico to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

South Florida vs. East Carolina TD Scorer Prediction – 7:30 p.m. ET

South Florida RB D.J. Crowther vs. East Carolina: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Goblin)

South Florida has recently gotten back on track after two straight losses and is now on a two-game winning streak. Its two wins were at home against UAB and Kent State, who are a combined 1-8 on the road.

This week could be a challenge when USF goes on the road to face an East Carolina team that is 3-1 at home.

If this game stays close, we could see RB D.J. Crowther get a heavy workload. In the Bulls’ last two games, they've built early leads and given multiple RBs opportunities to carry the ball. However, in their three previous close outings, Crowther got 20+ totes and found the end zone in each showing.

USF is already one of the most run-heavy teams in the country, ranking in the 85th percentile for rushing play percentage (58.3%). East Carolina tends to let opponents run the ball, ranking in the 13th percentile for opponent rushing play percentage (57.7%).

Add D.J. Crowther + South Florida to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.
