Below, we'll preview the game and break down a 76ers vs. Knicks prediction and picks on PrizePicks for today, including player projections for Maxey and PG Jalen Brunson.

76ers vs. Knicks Prediction, Spread, Over/Under

New York is surging as of late, as they’re currently riding a seven-game winning streak. In fact, the Knicks possess an 11-1 record dating back to Nov. 24 and sit in second place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Philadelphia is currently in fifth place with a 14-11 record and is coming off a 120-117 loss at the hands of Atlanta on Sunday.

Knicks G Jalen Brunson has been thriving lately and enters Friday’s matchup shooting 39.2% from deep in December. He's topped the 30-point mark in four of his last six games.

Sixers F Paul George rose to the occasion in recent games without Maxey in the lineup. Most recently, he scored 35 points on 11-of-21 shooting and knocked down seven 3-pointers vs. the Hawks in what was his highest point total since signing with Philadelphia during the 2024 offseason.

Embiid (illness) is questionable for Friday, while G Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) and F Trendon Watford (thigh) remain out. From a Knicks standpoint, C Karl-Anthony Towns (knee), F Josh Hart (abdomen), C Mitchell Robinson (ankle), and G Miles McBride (ankle) are all questionable.
