Who Will Be No. 1 Pick of the 2026 NFL Draft?

According to Sumer Sports, the Raiders finished last in expected points added (EPA) per play. Las Vegas quarterback Geno Smith disappointed in his first season as the starter, leading the NFL with 17 interceptions while totaling only +48.8 expected points added (26th), per PlayerProfiler.

Following the firing of Raiders coach Pete Carroll on Monday, rumors are swirling of an early exit for Smith. This offense desperately needs an overhaul, proven by its 14.2 points per game (32nd) and 4.4 yards per play (30th).

PrizePicks Team Picks features Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza (1.29x) and Oregon QB Dante Moore (3.84x) as the favorites to be the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. We then see a sharp drop off, with Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson (8.33x) as the third favorite.

Mendoza and Moore will duel in Friday’s Peach Bowl matchup between Oregon and Indiana, each making their case to be the No. 1 overall pick. The Raiders will likely keep a close eye on the College Football Playoff, brainstorming ways to utilize their top overall selection.
