Max Discounts
Max Discounts are PrizePicks’ biggest projection drops — all the way down to 0.5. With a Max Discount, a player only needs 1 yard, 1 point, or 1 strikeout for the More to hit. Easily found on the Explore tab of the app.
How Discounts Work
Discounts are limited-time projection reductions on select players. For example, a Discount could be Joe Burrow’s passing yards projection dropping from 252.5 to 199.5, or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s points projection dropping from 32.5 to 23.5.
Discounts make the “More” statistically more likely to hit. They’re not guaranteed wins, but they give you a better number to add to your Lineup.
Max Discounts are the biggest Discount on PrizePicks, dropping player projections to their lowest possible number — like 0.5 yards, 0.5 strikeouts, or 0.5 points.When a Discount hits the board, it’s usually worth a look — but they don’t often last for long. Step 1
Find a discounted projection
Open the PrizePicks app and look for active Discounts on the board. You can also check the Promos tab or follow PrizePicks on X for Discount drops.
Step 2
Claim the better number
Tap the “More” on the discounted projection while it’s still live to add it to your Lineup. Discounts are limited-time offers, especially on Taco Tuesday, so the number may not stay on the board for long.
Note: If you would like to choose Less on the discounted projection, it’s best to find the non-discounted projection — which will be a higher number, and select Less.
Step 3
Submit your Lineup
Add 2-5 more picks to your Lineup with the Discounted projection, see your potential payout, and submit it before the Discount expires.
