Flash Sales
Flash Sales lower player projections for a limited time, making the “More” easier to hit on PrizePicks. Flash Sales expire, so use them quick, and stack them with your favorite picks in a lineup.Check the Board to see active Flash Sale promos on the Board, or find them in your Rewards tab, where you can apply it to a Player Pick from a selection of options.
How Flash Sales Work
Flash Sales are limited-time projection discounts on select players and stats. For example, Joe Burrow's passing yards dropped from 252.5 to 199.5, or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's points from 32.5 to 23.5.
Flash Sales are beneficial as they make the "More" statistically more likely to hit, though they're not guaranteed wins.
Guarantee Picks are similar to Flash Sales, but bring even bigger discounts, dropping player projections to their lowest possible number — like 0.5 yards, 0.5 strikeouts, or 0.5 points.
Flash Sales can land on the Board as a promo, or in your account as a Reward you apply to a Player Pick from a limited selection of options.
Either way, they're only around for a limited time — tap in to tap in to PrizePicks on X or Instagram so you don’t miss a Flash Sale.
Note: Each Flash Sale can only be used in one Lineup per user.
Two Types of Flash Sales
There are two ways you can use a Flash Sale in your lineup, depending on whether it’s a Promo or Reward.
No matter how you play it, Flash Sales always reduce a player’s stat projection from its standard number, with the same payout!
When a Flash Sale promo hits the board, it won’t last long — only until the player’s game starts. Claim the better number and submit your Lineup before the offer expires.
Step 1
Find a discounted Flash Sale.
Open the PrizePicks app and look for active Flash Sales on the board — or discounted projections indicated by a lightning bolt icon. You can also check the Promos tab or follow PrizePicks on X for drops.
Step 2
Claim the better number.
Tap the “More” on the discounted projection while it’s still live to add it to your lineup. Flash Sales are limited-time offers, especially on Taco Tuesday, so it may not be on the board or long
Note: If you would like to choose Less on the discounted projection, it’s best to find the non-discounted projection — which will be a higher number, and select Less.
Step 3
Submit your Lineup.
Add 2-5 more picks to your lineup in addition to the Flash Sale, see your potential payout, and submit it before the Flash Sale expires.
