The Baltimore Ravens now have perhaps the most notable sideline general vacancy in the NFL, as the franchise fired the league’s longest-tenured head coach, John Harbaugh, on Tuesday.
Harbaugh led the Ravens to 12 playoff appearances over 18 seasons, including a Super Bowl XLVII win, a tough resume to replace, begging the question, who will be the Ravens’ next head coach? Here are the latest projections for Baltimore's top candidates on PrizePicks Team Picks.

Team picks data is live as of publishing and is subject to change.
Let’s look at our four favorites to become the Ravens’ next head coach.
Jesse Minter (Chargers Defensive Coordinator)
Former head coach John Harbaugh’s father, Jack Harbaugh, coached at Michigan, and his brother, Jim Harbaugh, played and coached for the the Blues. Jesse Minter was UM’s defensive coordinator in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, following Jim Harbaugh to the Chargers. It wouldn't be a surprise if Baltimore keeps its Michigan Wolverine a thing.
Los Angeles allowed 18.5 points per game (second) and 5.4 yards per play (tied for 13th) in the 2024 season. Heading into the playoffs, the Bolts have ceded 20.0 points per game (ninth) and 5.0 yards per play (10th) in 2025.
Minter has yet to hold a head coaching gig, carrying a DC role since 2011. If the Ravens are looking to add an elite defensive talent, the Chargers’ defensive coordinator could be their man.
Brian Flores (Vikings Defensive Coordinator)
Another defensive savant makes the list in Brian Flores of the Minnesota Vikings. Since he became the DC in 2023, the Vikings have allowed, respectively, 21.3 (12th), 19.9 (fourth), and 19.6 points per game (seventh) over the previous three seasons.
Unlike Minter, Flores would bring head coaching experience, as he led the Miami Dolphins to a 24-25 record (.490 win rate) from 2019 to 2021.
Kevin Stefanski (Free Agent)
On Black Monday, the Cleveland Browns elected to fire coach Kevin Stefanski. Over six seasons as the head coach, the Browns compiled a 45-56 record (.446 win rate), making two postseason appearances.
Stefanski was a mainstay on the Vikings’ offensive staff from 2006 to 2019, including the offensive coordinator position in the 2019 season. The Browns' 5-12 performance this season notwithstanding, Stefanski brings plenty of experience to the locker room.
Klint Kubiak (Seahawks Offensive Coordinator)
According to PrizePicks Team Picks, the Seahawks are the favorite to win the Super Bowl (4.16x payout). An elite offense has aided Seattle’s efforts, posting 28.4 points per game (third) and 5.9 yards per play (sixth).
After leading the Saints to only 19.9 points per game (tied for 24th) in the 2024 season, Klint Kubiak has enjoyed a major rebound as an OC. He’s been a part of various offensive staffs since 2010, including three stints as an offensive coordinator.
Who Will Be the Ravens’ Next Head Coach?
Following the news of Harbaugh’s departure, Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network quickly suggested Minter as a Ravens head coach candidate, while PrizePicks Team Picks does not list him as a top-five favorite for another head coaching vacancy.
Flores looks to be second in line for the Ravens’ HC role. He’s expected to interview for the Raiders’ head coach vacancy, and PrizePicks Team Picks has him tabbed as the favorite with a 2.63x payout. Plus, the former Fins head man is tied as the second favorite to land the Cardinals’ HC position (5.26x payout).
Landing Minter could require less competition than Flores, and could be appearling for a franchise looking to change direction.
