The Valorant Champions 2024 Playoff teams are set to compete in Seoul this week, and the competition of the year is about to reach its peak. After an intense group phase, eight teams will compete for their share of the $2.25 million prize pool.

Valorant Champions 2024: Playoff Teams
Eight Valorant teams qualified for the playoffs from the group stage, with a few surprises in the mix. Here are the teams in the playoffs.
- DRX - Group A, No. 1 seed
- Fnatic - Group A, No, 2 seed
- Team Heretics - Group B, No. 1 seed
- Sentinels - Group B, No. 2 seed
- Trace Esports - Group C, No. 1 seed
- Leviatán - Group C, No. 2 seed
- G2 Esports - Group D, No. 1 seed
- EDward Gaming - Group D, No. 2 seed
Surprisingly, tournament favorites Gen.G were dropped in the elimination round of the group phase, losing to Sentinels in a group stage rematch. Paper Rex, which finished third at the Madrid Masters in March, was also eliminated in the group stage.
Valorant Champions 2024 Playoffs Schedule
The Valorant Champions Playoffs follow a double-elimination bracket, where each match is a best-of-three, save for the Grand Finals and Lower Bracket finals. Those two matches will be best-of-five series, adding extra intensity to the deciding matches.
After the group stage completed, teams were drawn to determine the matchups for the opening round of the Valorant Champions Playoffs. No. 1 seeds were drawn first, followed by the four No. 2 seeds.
Here’s how the playoff quarterfinals matchups schedule looks.
- DRX vs Sentinels — 4 a.m. ET, August 14, 2024
- Trace Esports vs EDward Gaming — 7 a.m. ET, August 14, 2024
- G2 Esports vs Leviatán — 4 a.m. ET, August 15, 2024
- Team Heretics vs Fnatic — 7 a.m. ET, August 15, 2024
After the quarterfinals, the bracket will play as follows:
- Lower Bracket Round 1 — August 16 (two teams eliminated)
- Upper Bracket Semifinals — August 17
- Lower Bracket Quarterfinals — August 18 (two teams eliminated)
- Upper Bracket Final — 3 a.m. ET, August 23 (one team clinches Grand Final spot)
- Lower Bracket Semifinal — 3 a.m. ET, August 24 (one team eliminated)
- Grand Final — 4 a.m. ET, August 25

First of all, you’re going to need to be a night owl if you’re in an American time zone. Matches start at 3 or 4 a.m. ET in Seoul every day.
