How well that defense holds up against the Tempo, an expansion franchise making its debut this year, will be worth watching. Head coach Sandy Brondello’s crew is 8-9 to this point, albeit just 1-4 in its last five.

Toronto has five players scoring in double figures per game, with the offensive attack spearheaded by guards Brittney Sykes (20.1 PPG) and Marina Mabrey (19.4 PPG). 

Much like L.A., the Tempo struggle on the other end, surrendering the most PPG (91.8) on a nightly basis and allowing foes to thrive inside the arc (No. 14 in 2-pointers ceded at 24.4).

This is the third and final meeting between these teams in 2026, they split back-to-back outings in Los Angeles on May 15 and 17. In those contests, Sykes went off for a combined 65 points, with Plum amassing 55.
